 Nathan Coles gilt International als Pioneer in der elektronischen Musikszene. Zusammen mit Terry Francis gründete er 1994 die legendären Wiggle Partys, welche als beste Tech-house Veranstaltung in London gilt! Dies bewies auch die Auszeichnung zum "Best Underground Club" (Muzik Magazine/SAS awards) in 1998. In den letzten 10 Jahren baute sich Nathan auch als Produzent ein bemerkenswertes House und Breaks Portfolio mit Releases bei den renommierten Lables wie, Visitor, 10 Kilo, Big Chief, Household Recordings, Sensei und natürlich Wiggle und Wrong Records auf. Bio: If he hadn’t been born you’d have to invent him. That’s Nathan Coles. Born in London, Nathan was weaned on a diet of Rare Groove, Dub, Soul and Electro. Like many free-spirited children of the Acid House revolution, Nathan had his musical epiphany at such seminal clubs as Spectrum at Heaven and the Sunrise parties in the late 80s, where the metronomic thud of the first generation of House music entranced a whole generation. The biggest musical movement since Rock n’ Roll was born and Nathan was there at the very beginning, cocked and loaded, ready to make his mark. Armed with a 10000 watt grin, charm by the bucket load, and almost superhuman reserves of stamina, Nathan bumped and hustled his way into the hot, humid netherworld of the Warehouse party scene and, in alliance with Mr C launched the legendary Release parties. These parties were hot tickets, the huge success of which could only add further lustre to Nathan’s rapidly burgeoning reputation as an underground House DJ of great talent. It was in 1994 however that Nathan really cemented his lofty position in House Music’s Hall of Fame when he and Terry Francis launched the legendary Wiggle parties, and in the process, gave birth to musical movement now known as Tech-House. Arguably the best Tech-House party of them all, Wiggle’s far-reaching reputation as the party to end all parties was finally officially recognized when it was nominated for ‘Best Underground Club’ at the Muzik Magazine/SAS awards in 1998. In this respect Nathan can justifiably be called a musical pioneer, having spent the last 15 years as a kind of roving ambassador of Tech-House, laying down rapturously-received sets of loose-limbed, funk-fuelled House in an array of fantastic venues all over the world, such as: D Edge and Lov E (Sao Paulo), SpiritSound (Play del Carmen, Mexico), The Milkwegg (Amsterdam), OfCorso (Rotterdam), Bora Bora, Underground & Space (Ibiza), The Zouk Club (Singapore) Aria (Montreal), Folis Pigalle & The Rex (Paris), Roxy & Summer Of Love (Czech Republic), Stalker (Amsterdam), The Bomb (Nottingham) The End, Turnmills (London) as well as holding down his residency at FABRIC in London where he never ceases to raise the temperature to boiling point. In light of his Dj’ing reputation it is of no great surprise therefore that Nathan has also acquired a reputation as an excellent producer as well. Over the last 10 years he has built up an essential portfolio of House and Breaks releases on an array of imprints such as Loaded, Visitor, Plank, 10 Kilo, Big Chief and Household Recordings, picking up critical plaudits along the way such as ‘Essential Release Of The Month’ in Muzik magazine for his two Get Fucked albums. He has worked with the best as well including such production luminaries as Nils Hess (as Get Fucked), Matthew B (Mashupheadz), Asad Rizvi (Two Right Wrongans) and Terry Francis (The Delinquents/Housey Doingz). Having recently built a studio at his home in SE London you can expect a slew of super-funky releases to hit the shops on a regular basis from now on. In year 2001 he started his own booking agency "SaTrincha Prive Booking" which became and still is one of the leading agency in Croatia responsible for bringing biggest names in electronic music like Desyn Massiello, Omid 16b, Mara SoundSystem, Circulation, Moshic, Dominic Plaza, Ade Fenton, Space DJ'z, Trevor Rockcliffe, Joell Mull, Lars Klein, Petar Dundov, Virgin Helena, Paul Kane, Paul Stevens and doing Yoshitoshi Tour, Cocoon Night amongst regular saturday parties. In the year 2004 he became co-owner of first record shop in Rijeka " MUZIKUM " with his mate Mark Ash.Mixing ideas and experiences in music, they started a new night called " RESCUE ME " holding their friday residencies at " Fun Academy "Club in Rijeka. Policy of Rescue Me is to bring new exciting DJ's, producers and musicians always watching level and quality of music and people attending these nights. These days he's on the "Rescue Me" tour to Croatia bringing his sound and vision to clubs across Croatia and Slovenia. Wide range of music styles: house,progressive,electro and breakbeat gives him a freedom to be eclectic in his sets always enjoying long sets where he can combine all of those styles.But it must be Funky he says, it must move partygoers to dance for hours. He was also asked to do a set recently on Annual Vip Pool Party for big farmaceutic company "PLIVA".Seems like year 2005 will be very big for Moffous as "Muzikum"Shop mergure with famous record label "Aquarius" and now they are opening together "Muzikum - Aquarius" CD-Vinyl Shop in Rijeka. danke an alle die da waren!
war ein crazy weekend, wer mr. coles kennengelernt hat weiß wovon ich spreche ... ich sag nur "shake it, shake it ..." (IMG:http://www.technoboard.at/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) wir haben tags zuvor schon cloud nine in rijeka zelebriert, daher waren wir nicht 100% fit, aber dennoch genug um eine tolle party zu feiern. kayoz hat bis halb 1 die leute sehr gelungen aufgewärmt. die nächste stunde hat pete van weed super funky knackigen sound gespielt. um halb 2 hat nathan übernommen, der mann hats drauf. wiggle sound vom feinsten. ich weiß nicht genau woran es lag vielleicht am wodka (IMG:http://www.technoboard.at/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) jedenfalls hat er den timetable vergessen und bereits eine stunde zufrüh an moffous übergeben. moffous spielte ein progressive set, teilweise sehr ok teilweise für meinen geschmack ein wenig zu trancig. wegen dem zu frühen wechsel hat sich nathan coles natürlich im anschluss nochmal hinter die decks gestellt. ich hab dann kurz nach 5 übernommen und bin gegen 6:15 gelandet. nathan hat es sehr gefallen bei uns hier in titi city wie er zu sagen pflegt, er kommt gern wieder. mixe gibts demnächst online! Fuer die erste Cloud Nine Party, wars super voll... mehr geht immer, aber man muss zufrieden sein! Stimmung habe ich nicht so schlecht gefunden... Nathan hat super aufgelegt! Haerter als gedacht, aber spitzen technik! Moffous hat mir auch nicht so gefallen und zum Glueck hat uns dann Geonic laenger als geplant souveraen gelandet! Fuer mich eine super Performence der Shellbeachler beim take-off und beim landing! Von Leuten, die mitdabei waren, hab ich auch nur positves gehoert... Das ist mir wichtig! so spät aber doch komm ich auch noch dazu
war echt ne wahnsinns party und wir haben total die gaude ghabt. von kayoz hab i leider alles nur im hintergrund mitkriegt, waren aber super nummern dabei (IMG:http://www.technoboard.at/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) danach ein kurzer abstecher nach hause und rechtzeitig zu nathan war ich wieder in der postgarage... wahnsinn, das war sound vom feinsten. hat mir echt so getaugt. hoff er kommt wieder mal nach graz. es war so ne freud ihm zu zu schaun, wie er da hinter den turntables gerockt und geshakt hat. genial (IMG:http://www.technoboard.at/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) danach moffous, ja da hab ich nicht mehr viel gehört, den anfang, der hat mir eigentlich schon gefallen, bin dann aber gesundheitsbedingt doch lieber nach hause gegangen, wenn auch nicht gern.
