Black&White Orange Records is proud to present Philipp Ort's debut EP called That's Me including the three carefully chosen House productions Cabaret, Tanzwalz and a vocal collaboration with singer/songwriter Mickiyagi from Israel, If Music Makes u Dance. Each of these tracks has its own vibe of reflecting Philipp Ort's musical influences, ideas, and experiences in his deep but uplifting House productions.
The first track Cabaret is without a doubt the most grooviest and deepest track of this package and with its percussive drum layers and smoothly used synth sounds on top of a banging House beat it surely will make every part of your body move. The second track on the That's Me EP called Tanzwalz has been strongly influenced by Philipp Ort's great interest in other music styles such as Jazz, Blues and Classical music. As the title already explains it includes the idea of mixing a Walz with uplifting House beats. Also generated by a percussive drum grooveand smoothly arranged string, piano and trumpet layers this track truly shows the diversity of Philipp Ort's production techniques. And last but not least the track If Music Makes u Dance is from a collaboration project between Philipp Ort and singer and songwriter Mickiyagi from Israel. This production is made out of a smooth rolling drum kit controlled by organic piano chords, finely tuned synth keys and the strong but perfectly groovy vocals from Mickiyagi.
