Rainer Klang has kept the turntables spinning since the early nineties, organised parties, collected records, and has been busy playing in many European cities, often in collaboration with the Klein-Records crew, e.g. accompanying the Sofa Surfers on their tour of Europe as a DJ in 2002. He was resident DJ of the Klein Social Club at the Meierei in Vienna until its eventual closedown, playing host to artists as diverse as Riton, Renegade Soundwave, Funkstöhrung, DJ Koze, or Richard Dorfmeister. He is hosting his own club night “Lost In Music" in addition to “Private Dancer“, among whose guests were Patrick Pulsinger, Munk (Gomma), Ivan Smagghe (Black Strobe), Optimo Espacio, Joakim (Tigersushi), Headman (Output), Reade Truth (Path Rec.), Henrik Schwarz, Silvercity Bob a/k/a Seelenluft, Rob B. (Stereo Mc’s) and Brennan Green (Modal/USA),... Together with brother in crime Rene Saffarnia he is hosting the clubnight 'Catch The Beat' dedicated to historic-underground-dance-music. (Expect Disco, House, Soul, funky Freestyle and even more Disco from the vaults of deep-diggin' collectors) He was working for Viennese label Klein Records, which has been one of Austria’s most interesting and prestigious off-mainstream music platforms since its inception in the mid-90s including releases from renowned artists like Seelenluft, Sofa Surfers, The Bug, I - Wolf and Stratus. He is a passionated record collector and his dj sets are fine selected 12 inches from house & disco, obscure electro wave and techno classics. He spins inbetween stunning beautiful rare records from all ages and todays top notch driving energetic sequenzed club music.

16.8. EmeeGrant (Easymoodsy, Graz)

The story began when his father, as a boy, played the piano. He was also a talented dancer and couldve made a career as an artist, but at a young age his love of football took him down a different path. He eventuated into a great footballer and today hes still living his dream. Christian aka EmeeGrant followed in his fathers footsteps to become a great footballer but as fate would have it his over powering love for music and the arts put him back on the path that his father began. Whilst playing football as a boy he always had the rhythm in his mind instead of the game of football. "It felt like I had music running through my veins!" He started off spinning his dads records, my favourites were those with an electro sound, such as Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode, but especially the jazzy and funky ones!. Born in Romania and living there till the age of 17, after which he decided to move to Austria. Whilst at college in Austria he began to organise events and really got a buzz from it. At the age of 25 he began to come of age as a dj and was spinning in bars, private functions, fashion shows and different cultural events and also working as a consultant to bar and club owners. He's been invitated for some radio shows (digital konfusion mix show & swound sound, liquid radio) on the now legendary FM4 radio station(Vienna).The easymoods radio show, broadcasted on rodon fm 95/greece and also other radio stations across Europe, became more than a passion for him : he's presenting a diversity of music styles, promoting a lot of young artists and spreading the love for music. Now the easymoods project is growing as a movement, we'll take it on the road moving right the way across Europe holding gigs in different cities. Bringing the movement to you!
