It's a f*cking nightmare getting money out in East London . You've either got to go to an off-license on Kingsland Rd and get robbed 1.75 for the pleasure or go to the Texaco garage on the high street, which is usually empty or all the way to Old Street station. Brett Longman was so f*cked off with this he made an EP all about it. Check it out.

Agent FX bleeps and beeps were inspired by Brett's first visit to the T-Bar on Shoreditch High Street. After spending your whole wallet on absinthe its over to the Texaco to recharge funds. The track tries to capture the sense of anticipation of an empty machine counterbalanced by the rising urge to spew and/or buy a Ginster's Chicken and Mushroom Slice while evading Shoreditch twat style nu-ravers. Check out the nagging glitch noises, apparently they capture the tramp having a go at getting some money off Brett and the resounding kick is Brett telling the tramp to piss off.

Many people try and get cash back at bars in a bid to avoid Texaco or the off license. In order to get cash back you often have to spend a tenner on booze. Raining Room is all about trying to neck vast quantities of booze in order to get cash back – close your eyes, drink ten pounds worth of gin and then wobble around a bit to recreate Brett's evening at The Old Blue Last, last Thursday, and gain an insight into the tortured mind of a cashless drinker in the city.

Blue Pocket charts the night where you decide f*ck it, I'm gonna go to Liverpool Street to get some cash from the city boys, only to realise the Sunday Brick Lane shoppers have gone and spent it all on vintage hot pants and organic muesli. Coming back with his tail between his legs Brett discovered a new cash point just next to an uber bank. This tracks teasing hook reflects Brett's smug challenge for the listener to find that cash point and withdraw lots of money to spend on hard liquer.

Long Green is a song of hope. We all wait and pray for the new Shoreditch underground station arriving next year, with it the promise of new cash machines that will provide fuel for parties across Shoreditch. Rumour has it that Ken Livingstone is in talks with Brett with a view to having this track played at the stations opening, as he feels that its twisty nasty techno groove is the perfect way to herald the new cash points and the good that they will provide London's f*cked up citizens, who in turn will vote Ken in at the next elections.

I love London.

Peace out my niggas and vote for more cash points in the East End.

Respect going out to the Hackney cash point massive.
