| Specials/Infos | Bonito House welcomes the Twen.FM team for a night of glittering electronica. The rocky road of this excellent radio ended in triumph with their own frequency 104,1 Mhz on your Berlin dial featuring a fantastic and diverse selection of electronic and indie music for the modern ears. Complete with the standard podcasts and online streams, the power of the music is in their hands. Tonight they make room in the +4Bar and invite some distinguished guests. Marc Schneider on the Wordandsound label is an influential DJ and producer from Hamburg who got his first taste for dance music via Hip Hop and golden generation artists like Public Enemy, Schooly D or Boogie Down Productions before visits to the legendary, groundbreaking club Front and other influential venues like Opera House and Unit introduced him to house and techno in 91. He instantly caught the bug for electronic music, absorbed it’s sounds and lifestyle and made it his own, which led to his debut as a DJ only one year later. Never having missed any major development or pivotal release in quality dance music, Marc Schneider can flex is DJ-muscles in so many different ways and sensibly guide the crowd through a tasteful and kicking mixture of all things house and techno. Goldwill is a production & DJ duo Ralf Schmidtd and Henry Behring who divide their time between Berlin and Schwerin. As they don’t want to restrict theirselves to a certain sound or formula, they keep it as open as possible. Their sound revolves around deep grooving, psychedelic house, with a generous helping of classic vibes. Leaning towards the deeper, more reflective side of the dancefloor, creating superbly spaced, late-night atmospheres, teasing waves of straightforward motion. Carlos de Brito has been making some positive waves in the scene, especially with his Portugese collegue Manuel Calapez. His Soundcloud mixes are testimony that his very smooth and stylish touch blends perfectly with the +4Bar program tonight. Downstairs on the Tresor Floor this issue of New Faces presents Torsten Kanzler who breaks the ice with his wicked techno, introducing two breaths of techno fresh air in the form of EKE and Amiamo Techno artist X-t.r.e.m.e. and Simply Techno & Mischwerktanzen DJ Primetim. |
