ABOUT STRUBOSKOP: Struboskop is an austrian dj and producer collective, with an open-minded music style. Every member has it's own concept about the music he likes and plays, but we have one thing in common: People should dance to the music! We don't care about musical borders, we just make "inauthentic authentic electronic dance music" That's why our producing isn't genre specific, we produce what we like, we don't care about "genre realness"! Members: Zorillah is generally into electronic dance music (everything but trance - die, goa-goblins, die!), started with early DnB, UK-Breakbeats, Broken Beat and smoother Housemusic and Disco, within this styles of music he represents the "always good-mixin postmodern DJ". Techtrix started DJing because he was fascinated by hiphop DJs doin their tricks and stuff, he become a scratchin hiphop DJ. Always with the Funk and the orgin of hiphop music in his mind, he started play electronic music. His style is a club action, club rappin, miami bass, ghetto style always combined with the roots of electronic dance music: Disco and real fonkey basslines. Simeks keeps the people moving with tricky, rhythmic tunes. Being mainly a house dj, he combines french/german/spanish minimal with other forms of rhythm-orientated dance music, such as funk/nujazz, techno and breaks. www.myspace.com/struboskop |
