Slack Hippy (FM4/Dog´s Bollocks/projecteast.biz/Vienna/Austria) DJ Since :1991 Music Style: Freestyle Electronic dance music Lives in Vienna since 1991 and DJs regularly in most of the top spots in and around Vienna. Slack Hippy is resident DJ for the Friday night Electronic Music Radio show La Boum De Luxe on FM4 and is Co-Host (Together with D.Kay) and founder of the Monthly Breakbeat show "The Dogs Bollocks" on FM4. He has played all over Austria in the past 15 years and has built up a reputation as a technically fine skilled DJ with many musical surprises in his record box. He is always ready for a good party and has a good instinct for pleasing the music hungry crowds. Internationally Slack Hippy has also made a name for himself and is a regular guest in Poland and Germany with DJ appearances also in Croatia, Slovenia,Bosnia&Herzogovinia, Czech ,Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Switzerland and Spain. Upcoming DJing events are planned for Siberia, Poland, Kalingrad, Lithuania, Germany and his first ever DJing appearance at the Wiener Life Ball is an event not to be missed. Simonlebon (projecteast.biz/Vienna/Austria) Simon Birner aka Dj Simonlebon was born in 1975 in Vienna/Austria. His fascination for music developed in the early eighties at the age of nine when he got his first radio-cassette deck. From then on he could listen to 80s pop, rock, hiphop etc. compiling his own mixtapes from different radio stations. In the following years he got interested in many music styles like Punk, Metal, Hardcore, Reggae, Dub and of course electronic stuff. In 1999 inspired by several Djs and partys he decided to give the whole Dj business a chance and bought two Technics and a mixer by giving up his life insurance. Shortly after that Marcus Neve & Patrick Kong asked him to join them in their weekly residency at the Donau bar in Vienna. As sets lasted between three, four hours and longer Simon got used to varie different styles mixing hiphop, breaks, electro, house& techno to a skillfull blend. Simonlebon and Marcus Neve`s love for eclectic pastime led to the concept of “Slave to the Rhythm” inspired by a Grace Jones song in 2002. The clubnight is known to represent dance music in all its variety; brought to the listeners and dancers in a very eclectic way. “Slave to the Rhythm” happens monthly at Spark in Vienna and unregularly around Austria and in the South of Germany. In January 2003 he formed ProjectEast! together with two other partners. ProjectEast! was created as a communications and representation platform with the task of promoting cultural exchange between east and west. The aim of the project is to create a structure and a platform that is accessible to all people interested and which can be used by everyone to exchange national cultures globally. Since then he has played in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Lithuania always trying to pull down borders with his music. Together with fellow Dj companion Slack Hippy he not only played at several occasions but also looked for talented Djs, artists and producers to build cooperations through ProjectEast! El.Go:nzo ( artifex.cc, Club Electronique ) El.Go:nzo ist Mitglied von ARTIFEX, dem Verein zur Förderung zeitgenössischer Kunst und Kultur, welcher mit seinem breit gefächerten Künstlerkollektiv stets versucht ein Gütesiegel für Qualität und Fortschritt zu hinterlassen. Sein Style entsteht im Moment und ist Reflexion der Umgebung, ergänzt um seine eigene Kreativität. Ein Mann mit Talent. Nicht nur im Bezug auf seine Technik, sein Umsetzungsvermögen oder seine Musikauswahl. Johannes Lehner, so der gebürtige Name von El.Go:nzo, hat Energie. Und von der gibt er dem Publikum gerne etwas ab, wenn er sich hinter den Decks austoben darf....... So durft er schon das Publikum in diversen Clubs in Wien, Linz, Graz, Steyr etc zum Abfeiern anstiften und spielte gemeinsam mit well known nationalen wie internationalen Acts. |
