VOODOO Long time music investigator and journalist, voodoo was one of the most acclaimed newcomers of 2006 in the Lisbon underground. His sets are recognized as journeys through the most recent and fresh techno, sometimes crossing the line between this genre and some deep, housey and trancey influences. This work, along with the bzoing project (his techno label) and several online radio programs, led to the natural recognition and in 2007 he was invited to play in Lyon and at the Kubik Lisboa¹s closing party. He is now a regular presence in Lisbon¹s main clubs, and plays at parties all over Portugal. The bzoing label was described in the press as one of the most promising portuguese labels for 2009/2010. bzoing record label bzoing is a recently acclaimed cutting-edge techno label from lisbon, portugal, run by dj voodoo and producers d.O.t and Mikalogic, already mentioned in the press as one of the most promising projects in that country. bzoing is a name also associated to casual underground and much antecipated events mostly in the Lisbon area. bzoing starts now with first releases on beatport! |
