Im schönen Ambiente eines Wiener Szenelokals das den Name "Dots" trägt wird heute Abend wiedereinmal alles auf den Punkt gebracht. Hi! Ich weiß, dieses Festl passt hier nicht unbedingt her, aber Menschen, die Musik lieben, die sind für alles offen. Und nachdem ich "Nicht-Elektro-Freak"  hier auf nette Menschen gestoßen bin, die mir weiter geholfen haben, habe ich mir gedacht, dass ich das auch mal hier reinschreiben... man kann ja nie wissen.Und es gibt sicher auch Menschen, die neben der Elektronischen Musik, auch hin und wieder mal geren abrocken. Die Wundertüte steht im Zeichen des kanadischen Technos! Jeremy P. Caulfield und Jeff Milligan stehen für erstklassigen minimalen Techno, der schön nach vorne geht und jeden mitreißt! Milligan war schon mal hier vor Jahren, nun wird sich die kanadische Madness multiplizieren. Bis zum Ende wird euch Defex aus Wien dann auf seine Art begleiten, den verrückten Wiener hat wohl keiner vergessen, der ihn damals im Veilchen oder der Postgarage erlebt hat. Komplettiert von unserem wertvollsten Wien-Export Rudolf Roschitz und einem stimmigen Warm-up der Wundertüten-Gestalter KayoZ & GK Besonderen Stellenwert haben diesmal auch wieder die Visuals, von unseren beiden besten Mannschaften wird die Postgarage diesmal verkleidet, schon beim letzten Ereignis im Einsatz, sind sie nun vollkommen aufeinander abgestimmt – Nuur Kahraba-ij und OchoReSotto! Gewinnspiel: 2x2 Karten Artist-Info: Jeremey P. Caulfield  Originally hailing from Toronto Canada, Jeremy along with a close faction of other DJs was responsible for building the cities rich techno scene through the late 90s. Over the course of this time he held many of the city’s top residencies including FUKHOUSE @ Industry, one of the largest monthly techno nights in North America. Transplanting himself to Berlin in late 2003 he teamed up with a new label partner American raised, German bred, Ingo Gansera, and a new synergy emerged. Since then the two have quietly woven Dumb-Unit deep into the city’s rich electronic music scene. Excited to be part of this dynamic faction, yet not keen to jump on an already moving train, the duo avoided shoulder tapping the old guard and instead focused on crafting Dumb-Unit to be an outlet for a newly emerging attitude. The results have demonstrated this is working, as Dumb-Unit continues to present an ever growing and varied roster to the public. There are no absolutes, no results are planned, and as of yet all tests have been inconclusive . Jeff Milligan  In 1986, at the age of 14, Jeff Milligan (aka :Algorithm) had his first exposure to electronic music via some of Chicago, Detroit and Toronto?s earliest alternative radio programs. A year later in 1987, Jeff decided to dedicate his life to DJing and producing music. His close proximity to the Great Lakes Triangle : Toronto, Chicago and Detroit, led Jeff to develop a foremost influence from the early years of American house and techno. As Jeff delved deeper, he developed a keen interest in various German and British artists and record labels. The music Jeff played at the time and still does to this day, has a dual, continental European and American influence, the more experimental, more minimal sound of the two continents, the origins of what evolved into a unique Canadian sound. Jeff was the first DJ to expose a Canadian audience to his unique brand of techno and house music selections, preceded only by Richie Hawtin. Jeff?s highly technical, three/four turntable style put him in high demand across North America and by the age of twenty, Jeff was playing the Midwest circuit (Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland etc.) and nationwide, all over Canada. Jeff is legendarily regarded by his contemporaries as one the most technically talented DJ?s in the world. By 1999, Jeff began touring the worldwide circuit. Jeff has since performed in almost every major city in Europe, North America, and Japan, spanning the globe, maintaining a rigorous tour schedule, DJ'ing and performing live at the world?s finest venues in support of the music he loves. He has headlined alongside almost every prolific producer to have graced the electronic music stage in the past decade. Jeff?s own musical compositions have also had considerable impact on the world and he is highly regarded as a musician as well as a DJ. Jeff's DJ production work for +8, and loops on the first Serotonin Records (NYC) lockgroove compilations, were among the first released material under Jeff?s "algorithm" moniker. Since then, Jeff has developed a long and impressive discography with numerous releases on a variety of international record labels over the past few years, including : Blank (Japan), !"@.*!% (Slovakia), Foundsound (USA), FAT32 (Japan), Tictactoe (Denmark) 240 Volts (UK), BipHop (France), Tongut (Switzerland), Transmediale (Germany), Background (Germany), NextDoor (Canada), Onitor (Germany), Mutek (Canada), Sublime (Japan), Moorroom (Italy), Traum (Germany), Force Lab (Germany), Force Inc. (Germany), Revolver (Canada), E.R.A. (Canada), Tone (Canada), Blue (Canada), Silver (Belgium), +8 (Canada), Switch (Canada/USA), Serotonin (USA). Jeff's last full length album project, "Composure" (Force Inc., Germany) features Jeff's recomposed work of some of the world's most prolific artists including : Farben (Klang Elektronik), Matmos (Bjork), Kid 606 (Tigerbeat), Sutekh (Context), Twerk (Force Inc.), Safety Scissors (Proptronix) and Donacha Costello. EP on Revolver (written by Jeff and former label mate Robin Roy) was met with high critical acclaim worldwide, leading to Jeff?s first European tour alongside friend and future label mate, Cynosure's Mike Shannon. Over the years, Revolver Canada has released an impressive catalog, primarily consisting of Canadian artists including Montreal's Akufen, The Mole, Mike Shannon and Deadbeat, Toronto's Tomas Jirku and Pan/tone, and Kitchener's, Jay Hunsberger. für raver zu unpoppig, für psytrancer zu untrancig, für breakcorler zu uncorig... was bleibt dann noch über? für drum'n'bass fans genau richtig DRUMATIC, unsere kleine, aber feine Veranstaltungsreihe in der PMK bemüht sich in unregelmäßigem Rhytmus darum, des drum'n'bass reine Seele nach aussen zu kehren... Mit INPERSPECTIVE hat drumandbass ein label, dass irgendwie an oma's gemüsegarten erinnert: Ein bis zweimal im Jahr wird dort geerntet! Alles was auf den (Platten)teller kommt ist vom Samen bis zur Frucht mit Schweiss aufgezogen! Andere Labels funktionieren ja eher wie spanische Tomatenplantagen und das schmeckt man dann auch... INPERSPECTIVE hat sich noch nie um irgendetwas anderes, als um die Musik gekümmert. Der Output des labels ist nicht hoch, aber beständig! Mit CHRIS INPERSPECTIVE, dem Chef himself und SENSES (BASSBIN/INPERSPECTIVE) kommen zwei wirkliche Charakterköpfe der Londoner choppage/drumfunk Szene zu uns... Wer CHRIS INPERSPECTIVE vor 1 1/2 Jahren gesehen hat (PMK), der weiss ungefähr, was einen erwartet (ungefähr deshalb, weil er sicher wieder einiges an neuem Material dabei haben wird) OLDSCHOOL meets DRUMFUNK meets AMBIENT meets CHOPPAGE!! SENSES ist ein sensationeller DJ und begnadeter Produzer, lichtjahre vom drum'n'bass mainstream entfernt, aber mitten im Herzen des sounds! Neben INPERSPECTIVE beliefert er auch Labels wie BASSBIN und sogar METALHEADZ (zwar nur 1 tune, aber doch) |

Lang ist es her, dass die Residents von Electric Delicate zusammen die Plattenregler bedient haben. An diesem Abend sind es vier an der Zahl: Marcello die Rienzo, Ivo Hinkel, Groovebaby und Achim Penker. Das lässt an vergangene Nachtwerk Club-Zeiten zurück erinnern, als einem an der Landsberger Straße die Beats und Drums um die Ohren geschmettert wurden. Soundtechnisch werden euch die Jungs auch im Club The Garden zu einer Reise in die vielfältige Welt von Elektronischer Musik entführen. Also auf die Tanzfläche drauf und die nächsten sieben Stunden nicht mehr weg bewegen… die Jungs werden das auch auf keinen Fall zulassen! CY...
