it´s pop, but only sometimes. besides it´s rock´n´roll as well. most dirty garage you´d ever listened to. but actually it´s quite overproduced. post-post- rock, really close to the wiener schule, when they had grown up finally, right after graduation. and sure as fuck it´s not like that at all, only a great bit more than you might think it is.
yes, there are influences; most freely associated. but when one comes to think of it, it´s rather strict. not that experimental, not like inventing the old measly wheel anew. actually it´s a hommage. to werner herzog. and it´s really nonreferential as well. it´s music. worth listening to. it´s lee, what did you think?

so it´s lee, graz- based label with branches in vienna, berlin, london, lima and studenzen, with it´s second release Lee Extracts, a heart- warming and mind- shattering compilation featuring seven acts who provide a broad variety of whatevermusic.

we got lenz arranging blind dates for jacques brel and eternity, ignoring the fact that they might have met already. and we got schauer shrinking the necessity of time into elegiac nothingness. then there´s winterstrand teaching lessons of ambientiscotheque. e.stonji calculating musical equations directly into the ear to stimulate the body to meditative algorythmical movement.

there´s tomoroh hidari jamming with the- random- out- of- the- aeons as the living evidence of h.p. lovecraft´s works being non- fictional. and terocal introducing stoner huayno breaks to the cheerful spiritualization of a slightly overdosed psilocybin- trip. and last not least we have chfs and his whateveristic composition against the stubbornness of Neue Musik. but that´s all just words. you really should hear the sounds though ...
