Following in the footsteps of TIGA and ABE DUQUE, PRINCESS SUPERSTAR now delivers the third in the triumphant American Gigolo mix series. This is a fast moving high-energy mix that takes in some of the hottest Gigolo tracks from the last years as well as classics from the back catalogue and one or two special guests who make their first appearance on Gigolo. PRINCESS SUPERSTAR is extremely active on the DJ circuit and has several projects of her own such as DJS ARE NOT ROCKSTARS and THE DISKOKAINES. Coming in the year that Gigolo celebrates 10 years in the game, American Gigolo 3 is a foot-to-the-floor mix which shows the diversity that has made this one of the most acclaimed labels in electronic music. PRINCESS SUPERSTAR gets the ball rolling with DIBABA's number Happy Birthday Mr. President taken from the Swedes colossal 2006 debut EP for Gigolo Saved In Dadaland. This sets a fast pace which makes it an easy step to the rocking ABE DUQUE mix of Let No Man Jack taken from HELL's last album NY Muscle. Things go from sick to sicker with the Japanese-electro rocker Let's Get Sick by MU taken from her acclaimed 2003 on Tigersushi in cooperation with Gigolo. The driving mix goes on relentlessly with a mash-up of VITALIC You Prefer Cocaine with Bucky Done Gun by M.I.A.. The basic VITALIC track came out originally on his Poney EP on Gigolo in 2001. To this PRINCESS has added the unmistakeable vocals of Londoner M.I.A. Next up are Brazilian Gigolos DIGITARIA with their high-tech anthem Teen Years, a lament for those bygone days of youth. Old-school Gigolo meets new talent as the Gigolo überhit from MISS KITTIN & THE HACKER, 1982 mixes perfectly into fellow Frenchman SEBASTIEN SAN's track Interplanetary taken from his 2006 debut album Duel (Gigolo199). PRINCESS SUPERSTAR gives a shout out for one of her other projects DJS ARE NOT ROCKSTARS with their massive funk song European Accent that came out as a 12" on Belgian label Eskimo Recordings. From there she takes the musical journey on to hot new Gigolo act Australian duo THE PRESETS. Steamworks is one of the many highlights taken from Beams (Gigolo197), what is without question the album of the year 2006 – here it is present in an exclusive remix by PRINCESS SUPERSTAR herself. THE COSMONAUTS OF INNERSPACE take to the floor with the unquestionably Gigolo-style number Kung Foo from their Allergy EP (Gigolo123). THE COSMONAUTS… is the brainchild of honorary Gigolo FETISCH from Berlin's TERRANOVA and the tune has a real funky filmic vibe. There's a quick pit stop at the FREAKS No Way Back taken from Gigolo CDNINE before the mix moves on at lightning pace into DJ HELL's own stomping remix of the hardcore classic Dominator by HUMAN RESOURCE. Again PRINCESS SUPERSTAR bigs up another of her superb side-projects in the form of THE DISKOKAINES tune Rock a Boogie which she seamlessly blends with another of HELL's hottest new discoveries from last year, namely Romanian Gigolo THE MODEL who is represented with his spacey track You Are Always On My Mind. Again the mix steps up a gear as PRINCESS SUPERSTAR pays respect to another two big Gigolo names: FISCHERSPOONER's mega hit from 2006 We Need A War fuses effortlessly with Chicago's acid master TRAXX and his DIRTY CRIMINALS who hit the scene with the heavyweight jackin' number MTT Inversion. The energy almost reaches silly levels when ZOMBIE NATION's mammoth tech-disco track Call Center gets a spin. Some fast reflex mixing from PRINCESS SUPERSTAR takes the flow into HELL's mix of megastars DIDDY & FELIX THE HOUSECAT legendary track Jack U vs I'll House You. When that call comes "Everybody jack your body", you better do as DIDDY says! And as if that tune wasn't enough on its own PRINCESS SUPERSTAR still finds time to squeeze the HELL and RICHARD BARTZ collaboration 1234 in there too. There's hardly time to catch one's breath before the FAT TRUCKERS take off into the mixes final fling with their ultra-rock tune Superbike; hold tight and enjoy the ride! One of the ultimate Gigolo hits, I'm A Disco Dancer, by CHRISTOPHER JUST gets a drop and it's the JOHN TEJADA mix at that. Soon to follow is BODZIN & HUNTEMANN's number Black Ice taken from the storming HUNTEMANN album Fieber (Gigolo190) to which PRINCESS SUPERSTAR adds just a sprinkle of Gigolo boss HELL's collaboration with ANTHONY ROTHER, Body Machine which came out on ROTHER's Datapunk. The penultimate track in this pumping mix is new Belgium Gigolo ARBOTIQUE with the track Chineater which will also be included this year on Gigolo CD TEN. Last but by no means least, PRINCESS SUPERSTAR has selected what is also the last track on the XLOVER album Pleasure and Romance (Gigolo152), Darling Nikki, which also features PRINCESS SUPERSTAR on vocals. HELL's original concept for the first American Gigolo mix by TIGA in 2001 was that it should be something of a "best of" from the label catalogue. ABE DUQUE made the concept into a series with American Gigolo 2 in 2006 and now with American Gigolo 3 PRINCESS SUPERSTAR shows how to mix the hottest new Gigolo records with just enough classics from the repertoire. Her American Gigolo mix is a no holds barred, full throttle sprint through the universe of the cult electronic label International DJ Gigolos.
