About Fernanda Diaz!
Fernanda Diaaz defines herself as a dj that has a passion for all types of music. During her set she makes people travel, as she does, with the different styles of music she plays such as deep, tribal,progressive and tech house. Since she was a child she always has felt deeply attracted to music, but it is only in in the end of 2001 when she finally decides to dedicate herself to music. It is then when she learns how to mix, and only 4 months after having touched the turntables for the first time she starts to appear as a figure in Santiago de Chile¬¥s most important parties. In March 2002 Fernanda already achieved to be a well-known and respected dj in the Chilean scene and had become a regular in most of Chile¬¥s biggest clubs. One of these was Tantra, where many of the world¬¥s most famous dj¬¥s played, such as Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, Jimmy Van M, Danny Rampling, Hern?°n Catt?°neo, Diego Ro-K, etc.
But her amazingly fast and succesful way to the top as a dj in Chile was mainly thanks to having taken part in independent/underground parties, which served her as a platform to become well-known.
At the time, these parties had a very important rol in the growth and development of the Chilean scene as a whole, making more and more people become familiar with electronic music and educating the Chilean public.
In May 2002 Fernanda decides to take her passion to a higher professional level and travels to Ibiza. There she is able to obtain residencies in small clubs and also gets a chance to show that she can play like the worlds finest at Pacha and Space, where her natural talent and "feeling" for music showed that she can go very far.
All of this happens only a year after having learned how to play...She is currently living in Barcelona, where she has played at several important clubs such as Club Danzatoria, City Hall and Otto Zutz, among others. With Barcelona as her base, Fernanda intends to take the next step towards an international career.

Fernanda has been living in Barcelona for a year-and-a-half and during this time she has been able to consolidate a strong position as a dj in the local scene. Having played at all of the most important venues in town (Otto Zutz, City Hall, Pacha, CDLC, Club 13 to name only some), Fernanda has made herself a well-known and highly sought after dj. Her monthly residency at Barcelonas best house club, City Hall, has given her the chance to show an extremely interesting musical evolution from deep-tribal-progressive-house, to a more ‚electronic-electro-minimal-house" sound. Her continuity as a monthly resident dj in City Hall is her most important acheivement in Barcelona.
In February 2004, Fernanda had her debut during Carnival festivities in Tenerife in "Pink Project" , a female-dj group formed by 5 djs. She was invited to take part of this project by the founders of the idea, dj Lady W. Morales and dj Cristina Molina. The success of the inaugural party gave Pink Project a chance to show their best at Metro Club in Alicante, Spain in April. There are several proposals to play in the future in other clubs in cities such as Madrid, Granada, and Sevilla.
Having received several proposals already, during summer of 2004 Fernanda is planning on travelling to Ibiza.
With her studio totally set up and functioning at home, towards the end of 2004 Fernanda is planning on finally releasing her own musical production.

Club Massiv wartet wieder mit einem sehr gehaltvollen, Abwechslungsreichen und wie immer - musikalisch - sehr hochstehenden Line up auf. Als besondere Gäste werden sich Fernanda Diaz und DJ Trickster die Ehre geben, daher nun ein wenig mehr zu ihnen.
Fernanda Diaz ist in Sachen elektronische Musik schwerst in Schubladen zu pressen.Begonnen hat ihre Karriere als eine der Top Underground Deejays in Santiago de Chile, wo sie in kürzester Zeit vom "Youngster" zum absoluten Topstar aufstieg. Gigs mit Größen wie Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, Jimmy Van M, Danny Rampling,Diego, Ro-K uvm. katapultierten sie mit unglaublicher Geschwindigkeit ins Rampenlicht der chilenischen Electronic Musikszene.
Doch wie es so ist - nahmen die Dinge schneller als gedacht ihren Lauf durch einen, eigentlich als Urlaubsreise geplanten, Besuch auf Europas allseits bekannter Partyinsel Ibiza. Der anfängliche Abstecher ins spanische Partyeldorado verhalf ihr sehr bald zu kleinen Residencies, die in weiterer Folge zu Gigs in den legendären Clubs Pacha & Space Ibiza führten.
So wurde kurzerhand der Wohnsitz von Santiago de Chile nach Barcelona verlegt und sie schaffte es zu monatlichen Residencies in den angesagtesten Clubs der Stadt - wie Otto Zutz, City Hall, Pacha, CDLC, Club 13. In ihrer Heimat war sie bekannt für eine Mischung aus deep tribal progressive House, doch ihr Umzug nach Barcelona führte sehr bald zu einer Weiterentwicklung Richtung "electronic minimal House & more."
Ebenso ist sie Mitglied des, in Spanien, berühmten "Pink Project" einem Zusammenschluß von fünf weiblichen Deejays (u.a. Lady W. Morales & Cristina Molina) der in Spanien für ordentlich Furore sorgt.
Nebenbei darf man von Fernanda für 2005 einige sehr feine Releases erwarten und natürlich weiterhin ihren außerordentlichen Deejaykünsten lauschen - so nun auch im Wiener Club Massiv!

Basco's "When the beat is over..." bescherte uns einen grandiosen Zauberer an den Decks, einen technischen Perfektionisten mit untrüglichem emotionalen Gespür, die Artenvielfalt in seiner Plattenkiste in Gehörgänge zu träufeln wie LSD ins Trinkwasser.
Trickster's Name ist Programm. er operiert am offenen Herzen, wenn es sein muss, ohne Narkose!
Hightechdiscopunk all night long....!
Begleitet werden die beiden von Sven Gächter, Heavenly Herb & Chris Esycho - nun über diese drei Herren bedarf es wohl keiner großen Worte mehr..........! Alles in allem wieder ein äußerst bunter Abend - mit Künstlern verschiedenster Temperamente.
