When numbers become symbols, important events are in the air !

“10/100” not only denotes Kanzleramt celebrating its 10th anniversary, but also the 100th release of the Berlin-based label with this first ever Various Artist 12inch in the history of the label. Johannes Heil, Alexander Kowalski, Diego and label-head Heiko Laux celebrate 10 years kanzleramt each with an exclusive unreleased track representing themselves.

But that´s not all … those of you envisaging a small get-together for the record-release with ten candles where only the immediate family is present, is on the wrong track.

Because, in line with the label’s tradition, there are going to be a number of select parties with immediate physical contact with the fans. For label head Heiko Laux, 2004 also means the year of his comeback in the clubs as a live act – after all, his last live performance was more than seven years ago. In spring 2004 he is touring Europe’s ten most exciting cities together with Diego, Alexander Kowalski and his studio neighbour Theo Schulte with whom he runs the Offshore project. “We are calling at clubs that we particularly like. The fact that we will all be playing live also came about, simply because we know how to do it,” says Heiko Laux. “And playing live is the most direct way. The live line-up to mark Kanzleramt’s 10th anniversary is really amazing.”

Ja, diesmal spielt er (und sein Kompagnon) Live also schon anders als das letzte Mal. Leider gehen sie schon (und nur) im Frühjahr auf Tour, darum gab es zuletzt einige Kanzleramt Dates.
Übrigens: Am 16.3. kommt dann der Villalobos
