28. Kaunertal Opening- a classic thing with lot´s of News! Die Tage werden kürzer- die Bergspitzen weißer- und im Kaunertal laufen die Vorbereitungen für den Start in die neue Saison auf Hochtouren. Von 11.- 13. Oktober 2013 ist es wieder Zeit für ein fantastisches KTO Opening Wochenende. Heuer mit vielen News ua. ein Blue Tomato Testival mit über 60 Brands zum gratis Test, einen Monster Rail Session mit großartigen Preisen und ein Update der Amateur und Pro- Contests.. Das KTO Musikfestival erhält auch ein „Lifting“ und wird mit Pre- Sessions und einer feinen Lounge im Zelt bestückt. Die neuesten Moviepremieren und ein großartiges Line Up zwischen Raggae und Electro an den beiden Festival Abenden sind fixiert. Ua. werden uns die London Guns DJs (Gary Powel/ Libertines und Adam Ficek/ Babyshambles) aus London besuchen und und und... Stay tuned- be part of this great Kaunertal Opening! Vom 11.-13. Oktober 2013 ist es wieder soweit: Wir starten in die 28. Runde des legendären Kaunertal Openings. KTO 2013 bringt jedoch nicht nur „classics“ sondern einige Neuigkeiten: so wird in Kooperation mit BLUE TOMATO das wohl grösste Testival des Winters entstehen. Über 60! Brands sorgen für ein perfektes Wochenende mit dem neuesten Material aus der Szene. Sportlich wird bereits bei der Monster Railsession presented by downdays.eu & Snowboarder MBM am Freitag um coole Gewinnpreise „geshredded“ und beim Amateur Contest am Samstag um Wildcards für den Pro Contest am Sonntag gefahren. Das Preisgeld für den Pro Contest wird ausserdem heuer auf USD 10.500,-- gesteigert! Not bad, isn´t it? Trotzdem wird die gemütliche Atmosphäre des KTO nicht vernachlässigt: neben Chill Out Corner, Djs am Berg, Side Events wie „Balance-Boards“ von Vew-do gibt es auch eine lässige Snowboard Ausstellung mit Boards aus 3 Jahrzehnten. Und Abends? Kein KTO ohne Partyzelt – logisch! Bereits vor den grossen Parties laden wir um 19.00 zu coolen und relaxten PRE-SESSIONS mit Mini Skate Ramp und Sound vom Wien/Innsbrucker Dj Collective SOUNDTERRASSE ein. Danach geht’s mit Party pur weiter! Mit nationalen und internationalen Live Acts wie LONDON GUNS DJS (Babyshambles Adam Ficek und Libertines Gary Powel), den „dubbsteppern“ Atomique Ptah & Con, Discodogs erstmals Live, David Suivez und – of course – den Wax Wreckaz! 4 der angesagtesten Movie Premieren sind natürlich auch wieder mit dabei – also früh kommen lohnt sich! It´s not all about tradition- the KTO13 also entails many news: more contest- more testival- more side events- more party- simply more KTO! In cooperation with BLUE TOMATO the biggest Testival of the season- with over 60 brands- will be created to offer you a top and broad variety of the hottest freeski and snowboards gear of the winter season 2013/ 14. And you can test it for free! 4 contests invite you to show your steez and skills in the early season. Starting off with the relaxed Monster Railsession presented by downdays.eu & Snowboarder MBM, via a smooth Mini Shred hosted my Skiing, through to the Amateur Contest with top material prizes and the chance to get a wildcard for the incredible Pro Contest wich includes prize money of 10.500 USD this year! Not bad, ey? As a cool down from those action loaded festival days there will be a Relaxing Corner with DJs and Side Events, like the Vew- Do "Balance Boards" and a snowboard gallery showing the development of snowboards in the 30 years. Obviously there is no KTO without legendary Parties! This year it starts at 19:00 with a relaxed Pre- Session including drinks, a mini Skate Ramp and DJ sound from the viennese DJ Collective SOUNDTERASSE- so bring your Skateboard! The follow up is a 2 day festival madness at the KTO Party tent with national and international live acts likt the LONDON GUNS (Babyshambles Adam Ficek & Liberines Gary Powel), „dubbstepper“ Atomique Ptah & Con, live fort he first time Discodogs, David Suivez and of course the wonderful Wax Wreckaz! 4 video premieres from the hottest movie production companies of the scene will be screened as well!
