Dimitri Kechagias review: Solo is back and proves that there is a lot of creativity in the air and labels find the best possible way to release them and attract some attention from the buying public that screams for different intelligent music against the grain. Solo feeds exactly that need with a collection of must have anthems. those are coming from producers who build slowly their back catalogue with great tunez or from newcomers that aspire to get a leaving in the hard music industry. Solo is definitely a very nice collection that you can use all of them for your own solo dj influenced set. Lets describe in some words the tracks included in the 6th installment:

Jimmy Roqsta - I'll Meet You There (Original Mix):Great crossover of melodic progressive house and deep trance. Very pleasant.
Techi - Eclipse (Original Mix): Minimal tech house with a nasty groovy melody to start maybe the proceedings
Dave Goethals - Known (Original Mix): minimal tech house with retro samples
Daniele De Marchi - The Light (Original Mix): as the name suggests its deep progressive moody melodic track that house and deep trance ones wil like
Cut Knob - La Vida Nueva (Original mix):Big room tribal driving prog house Method records style with rocky edge
Ray McPhoney - The Dark Crevice (Original Mix): The title says it all deep minimal Detroit style techno thing
Ramirez Resso, Nice Deejay - One Night In Africa (Original Mix): minimal tribal tech house with African choirs samples
Gabriel Rhome - Blue Birds From Mount Harissa (Original Mix): very electronic deep tech house with acidic bassline and melodies on top
Simon Sheppard - I Want Get Down (Original Mix): very driving noisy epic house tracks that Swedish boys and friends will like a lot. i mean the style here
Andy Noize - Second Choices (Original Mix): progressive house with epic elements synthy stabs and great drive for peak time use. not a second choice"

Ray McPhoney - The Dark Crevice No.4 in BURN-STUDIOS JUNE CHART!

(IMG:http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa231/raymcphoney/Burn-Studios-TOP10-JUNE2011.jpg)

(IMG:http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa231/raymcphoney/top10JUNE-BURNSTUDIOS.jpg)

Burn Studios TOP 10 - June

#01 Copycat feat. Josephine - Darkest Side Of Me (SWEDEN)

The Swedish have a reputation for having great pop sensibilities, something which is apparent on this track. A tough electro-disco beat flows into a catchy ethereal vocal that will soon have you humming along.

#02 Terra Mia feat. Jim C - It's In The Groove (Christian Tamborrini remix) (SWITZERLAND)

Providing a modern take on the classic sound of the late 80s and early 90s, this Italian produced track teaches us that house music has always been about 'the groove'.

#03 Analog Cuvée - Tulipan (HUNGARY)

Combining Hungarian language singing with slow breakbeats and dream like acid lines, this forges old and new to produce an emotionally stirring track of simple beauty.

#04 Ray McPhoney - The Dark Crevice (AUSTRIA)

User six-ecco may go by the production name Ray McPhoney, but this piece of deep techno is the real thing. Reminsicent of the classic mid-90s techno sound but at a modern tempo.

#05 Gligor Kondovski - Green Dance (MACEDONIA)

Soothing and delicate strings sit atop ethnic percussion and woodwind in this delightful piece of ambient chillout music. Imagine a full orchestral filmscore being played in the heart of a forest.

#06 Lulla Violet - Arc (ABC remix) (HUNGARY)

Much has been made recently of the pairing of indie and dubstep. This track combines the abrasive, grimey side of dunstep with mournful lyrics and energetic guitars to great effect.

#07 Kid Panel - Hands In The Air (HUNGARY)

"Throw your hands in the air!" Who can't resist this classic call to party? Fusing oldskool cowbells, grinding electro influences and fresh funk breaks, this track will make you bounce.

#08 Sheriff Amara - Shake (GERMANY)

Channeling the spirit of classic house labels like Strictly Rhythm, Cajual and Henry Street, German producer Sheriff Amara shows us that house music will never die.

#09 Interlaken - Genghis (SWITZERLAND)

This glitchy downtempo number is made hauntingly effective by the careful use of hammered dulcimers and eerie chanting. It really made us feel like we were sat at the court of the Great Khan himself.

#10 Papa De Chris - Renti (GREECE)

Muscular, moody tech-house is having a renaissance currently. This fits the bill superbly, with a quirky vocal sample and plenty of interesting sounds riding a tough bassline that slowly builds in pitch.
