RANDALL JONES (USA) Am 9. April startet im Wiener Lutz Club mit The Showcast eine neue Eventreihe. The Showcast präsentiert Top-DJs der elektronischen Musikszene exklusiv zum ersten Mal in Österreich, zum Auftakt wird US-House-DJ Randall Jones nach Wien eingeflogen. Randall Jones beschallt seit mehr als 15 Jahren mit seinem energiegeladenen, hypnotisierenden House-Sound als Headliner – sowie gemeinsam mit Top Acts wie John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler, Tiesto, den Beastie Boys und den Black Eyed Peas – Clubs, Events und Festivals rund um den Globus: Amsterdam, Bogota, Budapest, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Lima, London, Los Angeles, Mexiko City, Miami, Montreal, Moskau, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Shanghai, Tokyo, … nun fügt sich am 9. April auch Wien in Randall Jones endlos lange Gig-Liste ein. Mit Releases auf Top Labels wie Audio Therapy, Bedrock, Little Mountain und Renaissance ist Randall Jones auch als Producer/Remixer sehr gefragt und so wurde sein aktuelles Album "The World: By Night" vom amerikanischen Plattengiganten Warner Music publiziert. Weiters produziert Randall Jones Musik für die TV- und Filmindustrie wie z.B. "CSI: Miami/New York", "America’s Next Topmodel" und MTV’s "Making the Band". Als Support laden wir Christian Cardwell aus Budapest ein. CHRISTIAN CARDWELL (HU)

He was born in Budapest, Hungary and has grown up in a musical environment. His parents were listening to tons of music during his early childhood, so it was sure, he will have musical interests later. The big change became 9 years ago in 2001, when he got his first dj equipments, and started to learn the dj profession. This 8 years were enough for him to take the control above his career and become one of the well known young Djs in Hungary. First trance grabbed his attention, but later he had started to wider his musical taste with other styles like techno, and progressive house. He has been organizing many parties since the elementary school. His first serious party what he launched was trance-minded event, called Mystery during the secondary school. It reached a big success, as it was one of the first trance party series in Hungary. He invited many young upcoming talents like: Niklas Harding, Kris O'Neil or Menno De Jong. He has also played in many countries such as Denmark, Sweden or Austria. He was spinning on the Godskitchen VIP pre-party in Sweden and played next to Ozgur Can too at the legendary Home Club. 2006 brought new vibes into his life. He started producing tracks focusing on getting international releases later. In 2007 he has started to work with the talented Hungarian producer Tommy Nash and they created a unique sounding complementing each other. They have already been invited to Poland two times to spin in the Polish Creamfields Before Party series. Also in 2007 they launched their radio show on Trancetream.fm called Senses. Arriving to the end of 2008 they have tracks and remixes signed to labels like Global Underground, Radio City, Lyon Echo, and have songs on compilations like GU's Afterhours Ibiza. Christian had arrived to a big turning point in his career in 2009, when he closed a part in his life and opened a new one: from that year he has started to perform in a new artist name and profile, Christian Cardwell. In 2009 he had started a new project with three friends (Tommy Nash, Ramone and Chip-es), called Clickaholics. With this project he is focusing more on productions than ever before. Also at the end of 2009 with his friends Holic and Shawn Mac, by having vast amount of experience in nu-disco/indie/new wave music, they established SpaceWalker Recordings, a record label that releases quality, as well as melodic and funky genres of music. This year he became the resident and promoter of the new underground superclub Beat Club Budapest, where he has already shared the decks with Sebastien Leger, Pig & Dan, Julien Jeweil, Guy J, Marc Marzenit, Henry Saiz, Dana Bergquist, King Unique, Maetrik, Shonky and Alex Niggemann. Currently he is busy in working on new tracks under the Clickaholics project and handling the club's everyday things.
