The Hamburg-based duo Deo & Z-Man unleash a genre-smashing ep on Opossum. From the center of the club to shouts from the sidelines, raw organic sounds swing, shuffle, and vibrate between serious attitude and a playful bounce. Loose, swaying grooves snap into complex orchestration, dancing with punchy guitars, mysterious melodies, and cinematic soundscapes. This unique gem is an ode to Danish Canadian-born, British radio DJ David “Kid” Jensen. It recalls the thoughtful music of famous rock bands like Jethro Tull and Led Zeppelin, garnished with a moody jazz organ and a upright bass. Laid-back percussion shuffle along, juxtaposed with blasting guitars and haunting, smokey melodies.

B2 Biff
Melancholic plucked bass tones are broken by guitar stabs and bitmashed synth blasts, drifting into dubstep vibes, choral voices, dusty drum fills and half tempo breaks.
