Hailing from the leafy home counties and connecting with music at a young age, Tim Hopgood AKA Ethyl, displays a musical knowledge and affinity for the groove far beyond his 23 years. Like many of today's finest, while constantly looking forward, he has one eye placed firmly on the retrospective. Beginning at the early age of 13, Tim has tapped into the mentality of the dance floor, crafting impeccable selections for hypnotic effect and winning slots at the Capital's underground hotspots, across the UK and at Ibiza's most prestigious venues before a production had even dropped.
Jamie Mark Edward Taylor, or Flori when the creative mood takes him, enjoys nothing more than listening to, playing and making music that doesn't make use of a noisy guitar. He's also not too fond of 808 drum samples. This can get him into trouble when in the company of other house heads but shows his willingness to test the boundaries of his chosen genre - with often unexpected results. Flori's musical know how - gained through a life on the front line - enables him to translate his soul, jazz and funk influences into forward thinking House music for the new decade.
Capping off an explosive production flurry with a release on the Freerange imprint, marked 2009 as a landmark year for both - house purists Secretsundaze and Quintessentials have recognised their precious talents.
This seriously talented duo from Birmingham has managed to bring an exciting new sound to the scene, and one that is rapidly finding fans around the world. Mind boggingly fat production, hypnotic grooves, a super deep mood - it´s their way to share their vision of house with the world - this is some proper trippy late night biz with a groove to make you shake and get lost in at the same time. Simple as that. A pinch of nugroove, a dash of Larry Heard and a sprinkle of deep Detroit. Pure bliss!

Mirko ist wohl einer der deutschen DJ Veteranen, der seit dem ersten Tag bis heute noch an den Decks rockt, wie kaum ein anderer.
The Real Deal sozusagen - so wie auch seine Radioshow heisst - bringt eine Mischung aus New School, Old School und Funk, fernab von jeder MTV "Aesthetik", mit Skills versehen, die mit "dope" schon fast understatement sind.Seit 1988 ist Mirko aktiv, seine DJ Karriere brachte in quer durch Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Italien, Skandinavien, Afrika, Tschechien, Ungarn, Paris, die USA und viele andere Destinationen. Neben Konzerten bei den einschlägigen HipHop Festivals a la Splash oder MTV Hip Hop Open supportete er als DJ Artists wie Gangstarr, Eminem, Das EFX, Jeru The Damaja, Talib Kweli oder Dendemann. Produktionen und Scratches von ihm sind auf Alben von den Stieber Twins, Mc Rene, Spax, Der Lange, Die Klasse von 95, Sleepwalker, Grand Agent, Marius No.1, DJ Stylewarz, Dendemann uva zu hören.
Jeden ersten Montag im Monat hostet er in Hamburg seine eigene Clubnacht "Flavor Of The Month" - ein Mann der Taten, wie man sieht!
