Der Dirt Crew Remix des Titeltracks eröffnet diese Scheibe. Weit gehaltener, perkussiver und detailreicher Deep House wird hier geboten. Galoppierend wird der Floor durchgerockt. Da freut sich die Primetimehorde. Das Orginal auf der Flip ist etwas trockener und reduzierter gehalten, rockt dadurch zwar ein bisschen weniger, gefällt aber trotzdem gut. Keine schlechte Scheibe

Der Dirt-Crew-Remix hat einen für sie typischen übersatten Housegroove, aber irgendwie fehlt mir hier der zündende Moment, an dem die Stimmung aus dem puren klassichen Groove umschlägt. Das Orginal dazu versucht es in den Breaks mit leicht trancigen Momenten, die hätte es allerdings gar nicht gebraucht, denn die Art, wie die Sequenzen immer fester gezurrt werden, hätten schon für genug Energie gesorgt.

The excellent Techno/Tech-House duo from Vienna, Austria has done it again! SMACS AND PATRICK KONG are no strangers to us as we have reviewed their previous releases for various labels in previous issues of the magazine. They have done many releases and remixes for labels like CON:TAKT, SUPERDISKO, FLEX SCHALLPLATTEN, KACHELFUNK, SOUNDLAB, V.I.M.TECH, DRAG N’ DROP and many more. This is their second release for the rather excellent Austrian label ESTRELA RECORDS which have released singles by the likes of Christopher Just, Montez, Catekk, NewBorn Christians and many more. Their previous “FLUGVERBOT” single for the label was a killer Techno monster with an astonishing TIGERSKIN remix but their new one is even better!! The original track is a Tech-House “Grower” indeed as I found myself lovin’ it more and more while I was listening to it……..cool percussive elements, rollin n’ deep at the same time, excellent build-up and some gorgeous Detroitish chords that simply blew my away! The track is floating like a Tech heaven, wikked ups and deep downs, darkish atmo……simply an excellent tool for the dancefloor. DIRT CREW (aka Peter Gijselaers and Felix Eder) needs no introduction as they’re one of the upper level modern Tech duos! They run many years now their own label, DIRT CREW RECORDS, and they have released tracks and remixes for many top labels like MY BEST FRIEND and MOODMUSIC. Their production qualities are on the championship side and this can be found easily in their awesome remix for “Growers”. A Floating Tech paradise which respects the original track and adds the appropriate quality in order to make it even better…….cool atmosphere, excellent chords, Detroit influences, modern Tech feeling……fire on the dancefloor!
Simply a gorgeous release by ESTRELA! Excellent quality, uplifting sounds, great atmosphere…….SMACS AND PATRICK KONG are on their way to the top and we have no right to stop them! Open your ears and your legs will follow…….
