Wilsonic Festival 2007 - another successful east-west meeting
Festival is every year scheduled for the second weekend of June. This years date is the weekend of 8-9. For those among you who are planning to attend Sonar festival in Barcelona, Wilsonic is one week ahead.

Among already announced headliners - Koop and Nouvelle Vague - you can find few stalwarts of the global electronic music scene, such as Audion, Jimmy Edgar, Clark, Pole & Band, Jazzanova; French turntable wizards Birdy Nam Nam or British dubstep aficionados MRK One, Loefah & Digital Mystikz. A festival's special will definitely be the show of UK's The Heritage Orchestra, a 40-piece onstage colaboration with the Slovak National Radio Orchestra. International stars and plenty of up & coming talent from the Central and Eastern European region, makes the trip to Bratislava?s Wilsonic unmissable.

Wilsonic - a club, a party and a concert in one
Wilsonic Festival, established in the year 2000, takes place annually in Bratislava, the capitol of Slovakia. Wilsonic is a spectacular celebration of today's best modern music presented in a live context, connecting the best elements of music fused within the atmosphere of a concert, a club and a party. The primary focus is on local Central and Eastern European artists, musicians and DJ's sharing the stage with their critically acclaimed, international counterparts. Wilsonic has untill now presented internationaly established artists such as Matthew Herbert, Daddy G, Gus Gus, Dani Siciliano, DJ Vadim's One Self, M83, Ricardo Villalobos, Akufen, Daniel Bell, Alex Under, Apparat, Jazzanova, Trickski, Louie Austen, Rainer Trüby, Fauna Flash, Funkstörung, Hood, Max Tundra, Safety Scissors, Lali Puna, Donna Regina, Jan Jelinek, Luciano, Keith Tenniswood, Mira Calix, Diesler and many others.

Wilsonic - a soundtrack to modern urban Bratislava
Bratislava, described in it's tourism campaign as a "little big city", is in reality, a small and cozy town. Located on the Danube river, it's tight city centre with it's neverending plethora of cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs is reminiscent of a mediterannean atmosphere. You won't even notice that the only thing missing is the sea. Above the old town, the capitol city's castle, is both a focal point and compass for potentially lost tourists. The view from the castle also offers a unique view of one of the biggest former communist style suburbs in Eastern Europe - Petržalka. Apart from the architecture of the old town and that of the communist era, modern buildings are popping up all over like mushrooms after the rain. There's a "New York rush" in the city these days as the biggest village in the country - as the locals often call it - transforms into an international capitol. Even entirely new districts, right beside the city center are currently being built.

gestern wars sehr sehr fein! perfekte location direkt an der donau, extrem positive und ausgelassene stimmung, sehr sehr angenehmes publikum, die wirklich bei jedem act mitgegangen sind und das ganze wirklich günstig....heritage orchestra mit dem slovakischen radioorchester zusammen auf der open air bühne war ein perfekter einstieg, danach pole und band live, dann jimmy edgar, am boot dann 3channels und audion live, und zum sonnenaufgang noch noze...war dann doch zuviel programm um alleszu sehen/hören.....also wer heut noch nix vor hat, sollte sich das aufjedenfall geben!
