ALEXANDER ROBOTNICK In 1983,1000’s of import copies of his single "Problèmes d'Amour" influenced many later house and techno pioneers in Chicago and Detroit, "Problèmes d'Amour” finally acheived acclaim as an italo-disco classic. (10 000 sold units) In Summer 2003 he worked with KIKO and THE HACKER on a new track “Viens Chez Moi” as featured in the EP “Les Grands Voyages de lÁmour. (Hot Banana Rec.) In October 2003 he published “ Rare Robotnicks” a collecton of his vintage tracks. During the same period he put together a mixed compilation to be released by Yellow productions: “The Disco-Tech of Alexander Robotnick”. A number of popular electronic artists including MISS KITTIN (Robotnick’s Track ”Dance Boy Dance” is featured on her “Radio Caroline”mix cd), KIKO, THE HACKER (and a wave of bootlegs/rmxs about 20 up to today including, CARL CRAIG; FRANCOIS KEVORKIAN etc.) have paid their tribute during last 2 years.
