EXIT NOISE SUMMER FEST is the biggest music festival in South-East Europe . EXIT is being organized at the magical old Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad , Serbia and Montenegro , since year 2001. EXIT 04 will take place 1. - 4. July 2004, and more than 250.000 people from all across Europe are expected to enjoy this year's high quality programme during the four days of the festival. EXIT 04 will host over 400 world famous artists, including Iggy Pop and many others. The program will take place on more than 10 different stages and numerous other locations throughout the Fortress. Over 800 musicians from all over the world have performed at EXIT so far. Some of the bands and the DJs are: Tricky, Stereo MC`s, Moloko, Asian Dub Foundation, Darren Emerson, DJ Lottie, Roni Size, Kosheen, Tony Alen, Max Romeo, David Morales, Eric Morillo, Smoke City, Adam F, LTJ Bukem, Horace Andy, Jeff Mills, Misty in Roots, Henry Rollins, Pete Tong, Soul II Soul, and many others. This year EXIT will again host some of the worlds top DJs and bands. The happening itself is taking place at more than 12 stages simultaneously: Main Stage (bands concerts), Main DJ Stage (top DJ performances), Rock Stage (the name says it all, live concerts), Reggae Stage (non-stop reggae sound systems competition), Latino Fiesta Stage (live acts & DJ sets), Deep Down 'n' Dirty (Drum 'n' bass and hip-hop), Asian Lounge, Future shock Stage (demo bands from across Balkans), World Music Stage (great musicians from all over the world), VIP caffe, Crossroads stage, Pop Cinema (popular movies, blockbusters), Art Cinema (non-comercial, new-age, students and artistic movies), numerous others places with happenings and happenings that take place across the whole teritory of the Fortress... STATE OF EXIT represents a metacountry of positive energy, communication, optimism, love and oneness with nature. The idea for the marketing campaign called State of Exit was inspired by over 700.000 visitors and the unique site where music and theatre performances, film screenings and academic programme take place on more than 20 locations. Over 4 years EXIT Festival has hosted more than 700.000 visitors . Around 8.000 tourists from all across ex-Yugoslavia, Hungary , Slovakia , Poland , Great Britain , Germany , Denmark , the Netherlands , the USA , and South Africa visit the festival every year. Over 200 journalists from Western Europe have covered the event. Musik and Seven magazines characterised EXIT and Novi Sad itself as destinations one should definitely put on their "must-visit" list. Wenn du es so sagst, keine schlechte idee. =) Hab' mir aber gedacht da es scho' länger her ist, dass es die LEute vielleicht wenig interesiert? =)
