das app ist sicherlich kein spielzeug, les dich mal im Virsyn Forum durch, klanglich ist das ding enorm (für ein iPhone), Virsyn ist auch für seine VST Instrumente am PC bekannt

Nimmt man http://www.pinchmedia.com/fresh-pricing-data-7-11-08/ liegt der Preis an unteren Grenze vom oberen Drittel (~1/3 der Applikationen sind teurer). Wobei wenn man es mit http://www.pinchmedia.com/iphone-applicati...e-distribution/ vergleich dürfte der Trend eher zu niedrigeren Preisen gehen und damit die EUR 3,99 schon ein guter Preis sein.

Der Reactable hat auf der diesjährigen Musikmesse erneut für enormen Rummel gesorgt.
Wer Besitzer eines Apple iPhone ist kann sich den Reactable für ein paar Cent besorgen.

Eigentlich ist Jasuto ein modularer Synthesizer und der Hersteller wirbt auch gar nicht mit dem Namen "Reactable". Dennoch ist die Bedienung dieses Synthesizers sehr stark an die des Klangtisches angelehnt — wenn auch einige Features fehlen.

Was den Reactable so besonders macht ist, dass sich einzelne Klangmodule darauf platzieren lassen und man diese dann herumschieben kann. Je nachdem wie nah sie anderen Modulen kommen, "springt" irgendwann ein Funke über und die zwei Module arbeiten zusammen.

Beispielsweise legt man ein Oszillator Modul auf den Tisch, dieser oszilliert nun munter vor sich hin. Doch man hört ihn noch nicht. Erst wenn sich dazu andere Module gesellen wie einen Audio-Ausgang kann man diesen hören.
Jetzt würde man hergehen wollen und den Sound noch weiter anpassen. Also fügt man weitere Module hinzu. Etwa einen LFO. Dieser soll den Oszillator in der Frequenz modularieren. Er wird nahe des Oszillators platziert. Und eine verbundene Linie deutet an, dass nun der LFO auf dem Oszillator geht.
Das besondere ist nun wieder, dass man den LFO einfach wegnimmt und ihn beispielsweise neben den Ausgang (Speaker) legt. Erscheint eine durchgezogene Linie deutet dies an, dass der LFO nun den Speaker modulariert. Es wird also eine Lautstärkeschwankung erzeugt.

Insgesamt kommt Jasuto mit 31 Modulen daher. Sie sind untergliedert in:

  • Math
  • Synth
  • Filters
  • Signal
  • Effects
  • IO
Nach eingiebigen Tests muss ich sagen, dass Jasuto ein sehr interessantes Bedienkonzept eines Modularsynthesizers darstellt. Der Vergleich mit Reactable kommt dem ziemlich nahe. Es macht Spass mit der App zu arbeiten und neue Klänge zu erzeugen.
Bisher war kein Synthesizer so intuitiv zu bedienen wie diese Touchscreen Synths.

Im Vergleich zu dem Klangtisch bringt Jasuto noch eine Neuerung. Die Module haben mehrere Andockpunkte (Nodes). Der Speaker hat beispielsweise 3. Einer für Links, Rechts und Beide Kanäle. Möchte man nur einen Ausgang ansteuern lässt man den Oszillator nur an die eine Seite andocken. Analog gilt das natürlich für die beiden anderen Nodes.

Was auch noch sehr schön gemacht ist, die Stärke mit der sich die einzelnen Module modularieren wird durch die Entfernung der Module zueinander geregelt.

Wie gesagt sehr spassig das ganze. Leider ist der Lautsprecher Ausgang des iPod ziemlich leise. Das ist zwar gut für meine Ohren, jedoch zur Aufnahme der Sounds aus dem iPod ungeeignet. Er rauscht zwar nicht besonders laut, dennoch würde ich mir wünschen den Ausgang höher aussteuern zu können.
Was man noch vermisst ist, die Speicherung von zusätzlichen Samples. Jedoch könnte das ja noch in späteren Programmversionen hinzugefügt werden.

nach fleißigem experimentieren bin ich auch auf den synth passend zu beatmaker gestoßen Noise.IO

auch wieder wenn man bedenkt das es sich um ein iphone/ipodtouch app handelt, der funktionsumfang und klang sind schon sehr cool:

so...mal einen kleinen Testloop zur probe erstellt:

das kit wurde von mir zusammengestellt und in Beatmaker importiert->per beatpack
der bass wurd in noise.io erstellt und direkt in beatmaker exportiert-> dannach im beatmaker auf ein pad eingefügt
im beatmaker wurde nur noch bischen mit dem internen eq drüber gefahren über den loop und dann schließlich auf meinen desktop exportiert per WiFi

der loop wird nun nach und nach erweitert, mal schaun was draus wird :-)

wer weitere beispiele erstellt hat nur her damit!

das ist wirklich mobiles musikmachen, ipod raus aus der hosentasche und loslegen überall wo ich grad bin

heute morgen aufn weg zur arbeit noch bischen an dem loop gefeilt, man kann im beatmaker auch auf die einzelnen pads effeckte legen und Equen, Bitcrusher und Cutoff, Hipass Filter können sich hören lassen
