Auch heuer gibt es wieder jeden Donnerstag, von Mai bis Anfang September, "Lost in Bass" im Volksgarten Pavillon. Von 20:00 h bis 02:00 h / Eintritt frei! 06.05.2010 / Lost in Bass Party im Rahmen der ViennaFair 2010 / LotusZZ (Klub Kohelet) / Okim / FreakA (digital movieloops) Andy Warhol schuf mit seiner Show Exploding Plastic Inevitable (EPI) ein hybrides Event, das an der Schnittstelle von Party und Kunst positioniert war. Visual Music war in einem performativen Sinn eingebunden.1 Lund (2009) vertritt die These, dass ein audiovisuelles Event eine ästhetische Struktur und einen Stellenwert in einem Club schaffen kann, die die komplette Inszenierung in eine Kunstrichtung rückt. Lost in Bass verbindet seit 1997 elektronische Musik mit Dia-, und Videoprojektionen, wobei die sublime Wirkung der Lichtprojektionen positiv auf den Spectator wirken soll. Die ,Lost in Bassʻ Partys im Rahmenprogramm der ViennaFair wollen den Ereignisraum zwischen Party und Kunst öffnen: Künstler, Galeristen, Fachpublikum, Partypeople, DJs, VJs können ungezwungen kommunizieren, sich ausgelassenen im Bass verlieren, die ,Lost in Bassʻ Projektionen (visuals: digital movieloops) betrachten und Teil einer Party- Installation werden. 1 Holger Lund: ,,Visual Music im Kontext multimedialer Partys.
