Lithuanian party and record label RyRalio has put together a nice effort to bring the most sincere house music to the world. The best-kept secret of Europe, the Lithuanian music scene is to offer the special performances by RyRalio's pillars DJ Karalius and DJ Lauris Lee. The mission of RyRalio is presentation of unique Baltic / East European dance music to the world via their releases. At the focus of their attention are the best house music acts from the region. They sparkle with innovation and enthusiasm encompassing that in many Western scenes. For example RyRalio licensed release "Direction 4 Me & You" by Kaunas duo JAZZUS JUICE on UK's legendary "DiY records" reached Top25 in "Groovetech" sales charts, and more releases are to follow. Naturally, the sets by Karalius and Lauris Lee always include a lot vinyl jewels from the deepest East and North Europe otherwise rarely hitting the dancefloor - both from their own releases, white labels as well as their vinyl archives of the 50s - 90s rarities. During 2002, RyRalio became the leading party label in Lithuania, offering 4 types of indoor events in the famous "RyRalio Religion" and "RyRalio House" series that reach audiences from 500 to 3 thous. people. Also, RyRalio DJs wide interest in downtempo music and their mixing skills helped establish the lounge music fashion in Lithuania. "The lounge atmosphere pioneers and, at the same time, masters", awed the music critics after the series of successful "RyRalio Lounge" and "RyRalio VIP" events in Vilnius, Kaunas and by the Baltic seaside. DJ Karalius (Sarunas Karalius) is the legend of the Lithuanian house music scene, and at the same time was voted the best Lithuanian DJ of 2002 by the readers of the popular e-magazine "Ore". Since the start of his career in the first Kaunas club parties "Pakalne" back in 1996, DJ Karalius has developed a special style of jazzy, latino, funky house music and ability to mix various styles into one nexus of sound. Having traveled East and West and toured virtually all clubs in Lithuania, Karalius played together with such personalities as Jools Butterfield (Ragbull, UK), Cal Gibson (Neon Heights, UK), Glenn Gunner (Street Corner Symphony/Block 16, UK), Woosh (Digs&Woosh/DiY, UK), Rhythm Doctor (Sugar, UK/Spirit EE), Dennis Uprock (Loud Musik, DK), Pete Herbert (Atlas Rec., UK), Local Patron (Jazid Collective, Norway), Zak Frost (Afro Art rec., UK), Kenny Hawkes (Music For Freaks, UK), i:cube (Versatile rec./FR), Minus 8 (Compost rec./Switzerland), etc. He played and enchanted in festivals and parties in Estonia, Latvia, Austria, Germany and Sweden. Today, he is also an owner and main promoter at RyRalio, the label breaking the ice into the future of Lithuanian music. Another leading figure at RyRalio, DJ Lauris Lee (Laurynas Lisauskas) is famous for playing house and pleasant down tempo records. He has virtually stormed the dancefloor at his native Kaunas and Vilnius and, despite, his young age, is renowned also as a talented partymaker and producer. Having spent a year of his life in San Francisco, Lauris quickly progressed to become a resident of "Club Six" and has brought the special sound of Californian club back to Europe. During his career, Lauris played with such known acts as Thomas White & Pete Williams (a.k.a. Natural Rhythm; Large Music, USA), Cal Gibson (Neon Heights, UK), Rithma (OM Records, USA), Hector Moralez (Fries & Bridges, MFF; Primal Records, USA), Rhythm Doctor (Sugar, UK/Spirit EE), Charles Spencer (Loveslap, USA), Minus 8 (Compost rec./Switzerland), Mark Wilkinson (Problem Kid, UK) and others. ja die beiden waren im september schon da. sind diesesmal quasi nur auf der durchreise, darum hat sich der termin kurzfristig ergeben. ich weiss, dass aaron carl aucvh ist, da werden wir nach dem spark noch hinschauen. hoffe er beginnt nicht zu früh.
