It puts all your media and effects right at your fingertips so you can quickly improvise your live visuals. These days, a DJ cannot just bring a record bag, he needs to bring a show. Crowds expect more and visuals play a big part in that. Computers are powerful enough to rock multiple layers of HD video content with realtime effects, while video mapping allows the output to be warped to all kinds of unconventional stage designs. Resolume is all about offering creative and intuitive tools for this, so talented people can unleash their creativity without having to get a major in computer science. It's the software of choice for visual professionals worldwide and used on the world tours of major artists as Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Skrillex and Flying Lotus. During this workshop, the developers themselves take you through the ins, the outs, the gotchas and the hidden tricks even the pros don't know about. Starting at the basics and offering valuable workflow tips along the way, these workshops offer something for complete beginners as well as seasoned pros. Jörg zemmler (Wien), ursprünglich aus Südtirol, gewann 2006 den Fm4 Protestsongcontest, 2009 den Öslam und 2012 den Ö1 Lyrikwettbewerb „Hautnah“. Bands, u. a.: bob (www.bob-the-band.com), zemmler (pumpkin records). Arbeitet auch in den Gefilden von soundpoetry, experimenteller und improvisierter Musik und Video. Das Stück „c´est partí" (Stück für zwei Loopstimmen und eine Elektrogitarre) wurde erstmals im Rahmen von MUSAO (Museum auf Abwegen Ottakring) am 22.09.2012 präsentiert und kam weiters im Rahmen der Velak Gala 73 im brut Konzerthaus (beides Wien) zur Aufführung. Zentrale Komponente des Stücks sind live generierte Vocalloops, die aufeinandergeschichtet und manipuliert werden, unterstützt von einer E-Gitarre mit eingebautem Verstärker. Für die Playground Tour 2013 wird das Instrumentarium mit einem Laptop ergänzt und ausgebaut und Live visualisiert von den Projektionskünstlern 4youreye ab 21h - Dauer ca. 40 Minuten) FLOOR 2 ################################################################################ ######### Together we go! Er möchte mit anderen VJs im Rahmen eines Work-in-Progress Konzepts (WiP) versuchen Bild und Raum- und Performance- und (technische) Kommunikationskonzepte untereinander vor Ort zu entwickeln. Im gedanklichen Vordergrund steht dabei auch die Performance der Bandmitglieder, ihr wirken auf der Bühne, um sie vom reinen Bedienen eines Geräts zu lösen und ihnen Präsenz zu verschaffen. In den projizierten Bildern sollen nicht nur klassische Ideen der Aufteilung wie Vordergrund, Hintergrund und Füllung beachtet werden, sondern auch das Zusammenspiel zwischen Musiker und VJs, Raum und inhaltlicher Bedeutung. Technisch ist dabei alles erlaubt: Vom Circuit Bending über selbstgebaute Visual Instruments, Kameras, Software-Tools, On-Body Controller, LEDs, berührungslose Interfaces bis hin zu useless Machines. Hauptsache man kann sich dabei bewegen und erzeugt Bilder.
