***5 YEARS of TEMPO! with BARIS K (Mini Müzikhol/Istanbul)*** Half a decade of parties are a good reason to explore new grounds. We invited Mr. Barış K from Istanbul to be our very special guest on January 7th. Barış is a traveller between both banks of the Bosporus, a savant of disco who knows that Claudja Barry and Şenay are sisters in spirit. To Istanbul’s music scene, Barış is what the grounds are to Turkish coffee: essential and promising. Among many other projects, he is co-curating the Anapop festival, member of the Mini Müzikhol collective and of course, the man who brought 70s-artists like Barış Manço, Ajda Pekkan or Kamuran Akkor back into the spotlight around the world. Expect the pearls of Turkish psych disco and beyond - diverse like Istanbul, deep like the Aegean Sea, mellow like Adana Dürüm. For 5 years of Tempo, we are crossing the bridge to Eurasia! Sıkıdım!
