All good music should tell a story. Tales of experience. Tales of joy. Tales of love lost and won. A Tale of Us. Tale of Us are Berlin-based DJ and production partnership Karm and Matteo who are currently re-writing the rulebook for deeply moving, emotional electronic music. Together they share a sonic vision that pulls together elements of house and techno with influences from pop, nu-disco and even rock music. While all of their productions are instantly recognisable as Tale Of Us, these range from straight-up dance floor jams to low-slung ambient tracks and more abstract compositions. Already regular fixtures at clubs like Watergate and Weekend in Berlin, Tenax in Florence, Barraca In Valencia and DC10 in Ibiza they have grown up throwing secret loft parties called ‘Just This’, in their hometown of Milan. While both originally hail from North America, Karm was born in Toronto and Matteo in New York, they moved to Italy as children, which is where they met and formed the close working bond that they now share.

Roman Rauch is in the game for years. Collecting records since the early 90s – Quincy Jones, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, A Tribe called Quest, De la Soul, Theo Parrish........ No matter the style or genre - It’s all about those big tunes. Through his passion for music Roman became a disc jockey and part of the Clean Scene Cuts Dj collective in 1998. Since then he is spinning records all around europe. From Vienna to Barcelona, Zagreb to Munich – Mr. Rauch is responsible for the crowded dancefloor. But Roman as a great producer as well.....Deep House, Hip Hop, Broken Beat - the only thing thats for sure is that a Roman Rauch production gots to be deep and dirty. But not enough – Roman is involved in numerous projects: Together with Sam Irl (Fresh Minute) and Josef Eisl (RBMA) they form Generell Deep. Under this name they do a monthly radioshow, produce tracks and host occasional parties. Check out their Whistle Bump Boogie track including some extraordinary Dorian Concept Remix. On the beats side he’s also producing beats for the mysterious Weedgeterian, of who some people claim it’s even himself. And of course Roman likes to collaborate. He worked with Kid Sublime (Kindred Spirits, Jahwell), Philta (4Lux), Makula (Eklektik), Duktus (Tokyo Dawn), Dorian Concept (Kindred Sprits), Blunted Monkz (Faces), Pow Lee (Urban Legends) and Bartellow, with whom he’s just working on another exciting project. Recognized by the likes of Jay Scarlett, Rainer Trüby or Alan Brown, just to name a few – I’m sure that this brand new talent will continue to bring on nothing but the heat straight outta Vienna.
