In the new "Denon DJ Music Hall" in sector B in "Bodypaint City" the "Kleine Zeitung" DJ Contest presented by ForceFM will be organized within the festival main days. An opportunity for hidden talents, newcomers and semi professional DJs and DJanes with the possibility to win a unique London weekend including a gig at the ForceFM Club Night. Schedule in the Denon DJ Music Hall: * Daily on the WBF main days between 2.00 and 7.00 pm Pre selection on Friday and Saturday, Finals on Sunday * Music genre: electronic dance music, remixes, techno, electro, drum and bass, hip hop, * The scoring - Pre selection Friday and Saturday 12-16 participants per day. The top 5 of each day will go into the finals on Sunday. The DJ / DJane presents a showcase, the jury will score: – TRACK SELECTION (Intro, Structure, Flow) – TECHNICAL - Points awarded for technical ability including use of effects or tricks, combination of tecniqes – MIXING - The transition from one record to another, points lost for mixes out of sync or poor volume control – CROWD REACTION - Points awarded for lifting the crowd or getting a visible reaction – CHARISMA - How the DJ interacts with the audience through showmanship The scoring - Semi-Finals: The 10 finalists will present their showcase on Sunday. The Jury scores as on the days before. The scoring - Finale: The best 2 DJ's will ballte against each other. The genre will be given by the jury. The judging is done by the jury and the audience. * Lengh of a set: 30 minutes (on the highest number of participants the set might be reduced to 20 minutes) . maximum lengh of one track is 3 minutes * The DJ/DJane has to bring vinyl, headphones and tools (cue points) that can be used within the provided equipment. If you need for your hip hop session your battle mixer, you are allowed to bring your own mixer. * We provide Denon 1700 mixing desk, Denon CD Player DNS 3700 multi media cd players, Techniks 1210 turntables, Pioneer CDJ 200 und CDJ 1000 * Age limit is 16 * Registration is open till 10 July 2010 via online form * For the participation fee of Euro 39 you will receive access to the VIP lounge including food buffet and all day and night drink service. Finalists will get the same package for Sunday free of charges. * All participants will be listed in the program brochure

In der "Denon DJ Music Hall" im Sektor B der "Bodypaint City" wird an den 3 Haupttagen der "Kleine Zeitung" DJ Contest ausgerichtet. Eine Möglichkeit für unbekannten Talente, Newcomer und Semi Professionelle DJs & DJanes mit der Gewinnchance auf ein exklusives London Wochenende inkl. Auftritt bei der ForceFM Club Night. Ablauf in der Denon DJ Music Hall: * Täglich an den WBF Haupttagen zwischen 14.00 - 19.00 Uhr Vorausscheidung am Freitag und Samstag, Finale am Sonntag * Musikrichtung: elektronische Tanzmusik, Remixe, Techno, Electro, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop * Die Bewertung - Vorausscheidung * am Freitag und Samstag 12-16 Teilnehmer pro Tag Die jeweils 5 besten an den beiden Vorauswahltagen kommen in das Finale am Sonntag. Der DJ / die DJane) stellt ein Showcase vor. Die Jury bewertet – den Aufbau seines Sets (Intro, Struktur, durchgehende Linien), – die Sauberkeit der Techniken und des Sets, sowie die Kombination von Techniken – die Sicherheit der Performance, – die Auswahl der Tracks und – das Charisma des DJ's gegenüber dem Publikum Die Bewertung - Semi-Finale: Die 10 Finalisten stellen das Showcase vor. Die Jury bewertet wie an den Vortagen. Die Bewertung - Finale: Die besten 2 DJ's werden gegeneinander im "Battle" um den Sieg antreten. Das Genre wird von der Jury vorgegeben. Die Wertung nimmt die Jury und das Publikum vor. * sollten mehr Anmeldungen als erwartet eingehen, steht es dem Veranstalter offen die Vorausscheidung während der Festivalwoche in der WBF Institute of Sound Lounge in Seeboden bzw. in weiteren Kärntner Clubs in Klagenfurt / Villach / Spittal a. d. Drau zu organisieren. * Länge des Sets: 30 Minuten (möglich daß bei vielen Teilnehmern das Set auf 20 Minuten gekürzt wird) . Maximale Länge eines Tracks 3 Minuten * Der DJ/DJane bringt Vinyl, Kopfhörer sowie Technik im Rahmen des zur Verfügung gestellten Equipments. Sollte ein Teilnehmer für sein Hip Hop Set einen Battlemixer benötigen, so kann der eigene mitgebracht werden. * Gestellt wird: Denon Mischpult 1700, Denon CD Player DNS 3700, Plattenspieler Techniks 1210, Pioneer CDJ 200 und CDJ 1000 * Mindestalter 16 Jahre * Anmeldeschluß ist der 10. Juli 2010 via online Formular * Für die Teilnahmegebühr von € 39,- erhält jeder Zutritt zur VIP Lounge mit kalten/warmen Buffet und ganztägiger Getränkeversorgung.
