London born Leke, trained at the London College of fashion. As a Drum n Bass and Hip-Hop fanatic, he sought to capture that energy by incorporating his passion for music with fashion, hence the foundation of Leke’s early Aerosoul designs, such as the now infamous two decks “Junglist Movement” T-shirt. For 10 years Aerosoul has brought quality street wear to a discerning market. From humble beginnings, the label has evolved from a favourite on the UK club scene to an internationally recognised brand. From the outset Leke employed both legendary and up-and-coming names from the urban music scene to represent the brand. These models have included. Omar, Roots Manuva, Robert Owens, Don:e, Damage, Rodney P, Skitz, Zion I, Ty, A Guy Called Gerald, Normski, Skinnyman, Bryan g , Domu Steve “the 4orce “ Ellington , Paradox, John B , A.I, Alix Perez, and Ill Logic & Raf. Plus many more. But in truth, the brand has been rocked by a diverse array of celebrities from the cast of tv series Hollyoaks , Groove Armada , The Boo Radleys , London Elektricity to diva model ‘Sophie Anderson’. Proving Aerosoul’s broad appeal to all genres of music from indie to commercial. Aerosoul was resently featured in the british gangsta flick “ Deadmeat” and the 300% cotton t-shirt graphics book by Laurence king publishing.
