2007 roswell 47 is still waving the flag for ghetto music and embracing all its variations in his dj sets. from miami bass to atlanta, detroit ghettotech to chicago juke music, rio baile funk to baltimore club and the latest developments in europe's bass releases. 15 year old tunes meet the latest shizzle and his hyped up mixes always make the girls go wild and shake their thangs on the dancefloor. he began djing in the mid-90s with focus on techno bass/electro/ghetto bass. starting own vienna-based, successful club "elektroploitation" in 1997 to concentrate on this neglected side of dancemusic. it was one of europe's first partyseries to feature ghetto music as its main content. elektroploitation, the enthusiastic crowd reaction and the media exposure it caused installed bass & ghetto tech in austria's club scene. at that time roswell 47 also took care of dj godfather's bookings in mainland europe. some elektroploitation-acts included aux 88, dj assault, dj godfather, detroit grand pubahs, two lone swordsmen, juan atkins, andrew weatherall, dj di'Jital, dj dick nixon, i-f, dmx krew, anthony rother, pulsinger & tunakan, epy, mas 2008, dj shortstop, big daddy rick, alex is my bro, plak, etc. some cities: vienna, linz, salzburg, graz, budapest, bratislava, zurich, wels, konstanz, jena, cologne, feldkirch, zell am see, klagenfurt, innsbruck, brno, labin, munich... elektroploitation stopped 2001 and in late 2002 roswell 47 & plak opened the recordshop Bounce Records, situated in the 4th district of vienna. meanwhile it has become vienna's main recordshop for urban sounds: Hiphop, R&B, Breaks, Drum & Bass, UK Garage/Grime/Dubstep, Electro, Ghetto Bass, Baltimore Club, Baile Funk, Reggaeton/Dancehall, etc. aside from the recordstore and the onlineshop the 2 founders of Bounce are hosting a weekly radioshow on play.fm (every wed. 9-10pm), the weekly Nu School Breaks Club "Addiction" (every wed. at B72 in Vienna) and every last friday of the month the monthly "Bounce!" parties at Fluc_Wanne. Patrick Pulsinger's 4th edition of "From The Closet" brings you 2 hours of booty shakin' pleasure straight from the Bounce Records shop in Vienna. The first hour includes an indepth interview with the 2 owners Roswell 47 and Plak about why they do what they do with some musical examples of what makes them bounce. Eine Szene dafür war sogut wie nicht vorhanden. Pandora wurde schnell aktiv, und abgesehen von 2 Turntables und einem Mixer wurden auch gleich einige der grandiosen 2nd Floors mit Jungle organisiert. Diese 2nd Floors mit Jungle, waren vor allem in Kombination mit Hardcore-Techno, Gabba und HappyHardcore in Location s wie der Arena und dem EKH zu finden. Da es zu dieser Zeit noch nicht viele Veranstalter gab, half sie mit Events wie „Pandemonium“ (1stfloor:Hardcore-Techno, 2ndfloor:Jungle) oder den kultigen „Total Extasy“ –HappyBreakbeat-Party`s etwas nach. Bald ergab sich der erste Auftritt im SUB, dem ersten wöchentlichen DnB-Club Wiens im Flex. Zu dieser Zeit, beschloss sie, mit ihrer Freundin „Lighta“ gemeinsame Sache zu machen – sie legten bald nur mehr zusammen auf und bildeten so die bald legendäre Marke „Pandora & Lighta“.Es folgte der erste Termin am „Wicked“, Wiens classy Oldschool-Veranstaltung, bei der Pandora heute noch gerne Gast ist. Ihre gemeinsamen B2B-Sets wurden von da an immer gefragter, es folgten Auftritte zusammen mit Acts wie ShyFX, Wagner, DJ Die, DocScott, AlleyCat... in Locations wie dem Flex, der Meierei, dem Wuk, Volksgarten, Massiv, ...und international vor allem in Berlin und Budapest. Im Juli 2001 trennten sich die Wege von "Pandora und Lighta", ein allerletztes Mal wurde ein gemeinsamer Event mit dem Support von female:pressure organisiert. Eingeladen wurden: DJ Wildchild, Jenna G., MissDee und dem Techno- Floor mit Eva Casal, Tina 303 und Ravissa (8.September 2001 Meierei-Stadpark). Danach ging Pandora ihren eigenen Weg, spielte Sets in Innsbruck, Linz, Belgrad, Berlin, der Slowakei, Ungarn, Salzburg, St.Pölten, u.v.m... Sie veranstaltete DnB-Events im Flex, der Arena und dem Volksgarten, und prägte somit die Szene wieder einmal mehr. Heute ist sie fixer Bestandteil derwohl grössten DnB-Partyreihe Österreichs: Mainframe! Als solche ist Sie regelmässig in Locations wie Arena oder „The Zoo“ zu sehen, ausserdem gehört sie zu den Residents von Raw.Full`s & D.Kay`s donnerstäglichem DnB- Club „Beat It“ im Flex. It was around 97/98 when he decided to concentrate on dance music, originally playing jungle, garage and house music playing at various parties in and around Leicestershire and Nottingham. He first began playing out in clubs in and around his city of Leciester in 1997, debuting at Junction 21 alongside names such as Andy C, Darren Jay, Ostro&Levitate, at Leciester s well known Sonic Boom alongside the likes of Formation s SS, APB and Priceless and MC Maveric. In the year 2000 he relocated to Vienna, it was then Coda made his debut at the infamous Trife. Life! parties in Austria, and moving from there to his residency @ the weekly 'All Souled Out' in Vienna and a regular at Dkay & raw.full's night Beat.It. Whilst djing in Europe, Coda has been booked alongside the likes of Influx UK, Ink, Bassface Sascha, Jon B, Randall, DJ Lee, Bratwa, Chris Inpespective, Skibbadee, MC Stirlin and many more. Now working with various other producers, the tunes keep rollin... http://www.myspace.com/djcoda **** kon.txt sind 5 Studenten der Fachhochschule Salzburg, Fachrichtung MultiMediaArt, die 2005 ihre Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der visuellen Medien begannen. Sie beschäftigen sich mit der Konzeption von Räumen anhand von Möglichkeiten der Projektion und greifen dabei narrative und abstrakte Elemente digitaler Videokultur sowie den generativen Charakter der im Computer entstandenen Arbeiten auf. Ihr Kompetenzfeld reicht vom Produzieren eigener Videoclips, Animationen und Kurzfilme über das Live-Mischen und Generieren bei Veranstaltungen bis hin zur kompletten Gestaltung von Event-Konzepten sowie atempörären Arbeiten in Form von Installationen. In ihrer Funktion sind sie ebenso fester Bestandteil des AV-Acts L’egojazz (München) und arbeiten darüberhinaus eng mit dem Live-Performer Dorian Concept (Wien) zusammen.
