Das Gelände hat eine große Wiese mit einem See und ein Steinzeitdorf. Spirit Base II Benefiz dauert 3 Tage vom 26. bis 28. August – mit 16 Liveacts, 30 DJs, 5 Deko-Gruppen, VJs und einer Lasershow. Auch eine Market Area wird es geben, aber keinen Chillout-Floor. Das Spirit Base II ist ein Benefiz-Festival um die hohen Kosten des Spirit Base „Stone Age“ zu decken. Specials/Infos	Between the 25th and 28th of August 2011 the impressive postindustrial remaining of a former KWK Katowice (Katowice Coal Mine) which dominate the scenery of Katowice (Capitol of the Upper Silesia Region) shall once again be transformed into a mekka of unpretentious dance electronics rythms in the world of contemporary music. Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festiwal, in it’s sixth year running, has gone from an event first put together by a group of true enthusiasts to being one of the most important summer music events in Poland. The internet votes cast by our viewers, which made it possible for TNM to feature in various poles and rankings, have proved the growing demand for a festival that would allow the biggest stars of electronic music and the most interesting upcoming artists about to breach to fame, share the stage and influance each other. The Best Small European Festival 2010 given to us last year by the European Festivals has reassured us that puting this festival together and making it just the way we wanted to, was the right decission and that we have achieved on of our main goals: to create an event that would promote music absent in the mass media, as well as promoting Katowice and the whole Silesian Region and Poland in general. During the last five years we were very happy and privlidged to host true legends of the independent music scene: the Japanese master of the decks DJ Krush, Brazilianking of broken beats Amon Tobin, one of the most expressive rapers in british hip-hop Roots Manuva or the man that singlehandly introduced soul to the XXI century incredible Jamie Lidell. Our festival bacame a great opportunity to whitness what the future of hip-hop holds when we invited Scroobius Pip and Speech Debelle, who are the artists behind some of the groundbreaking new sounds and genders of the last couple of years – Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke or The Gaslamp Killer. We have also successfully showcased the best of the homegrown, polish talents and allowed them to share the stage with international stars. 2011 and the sixth edition of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festiwal will bring you even more surprises and exitement. We have so far confirmed live presence from Apparat Band Live (first time in Poland), Modeselektor, Lamb, Gold Panda (first time in Poland), Little Dragon, Bonaparte (first time in Poland), Mary Anne Hobbs (curating her very own stage at TNM 2011 with co-artists: Instra:mental, Lorn, Darkstar, Boxcutter, Roska, Oris Jay – most of them for the first time in Poland), Jamie Woon, Mount Kimbie, DELS, Spoek Mathambo and many many more (some still not announced)! All this is just a teaser of what will happen in Katowice during the last weekend of August, as we are planning to move more from the main festival grounds and invade the city of Katowice territory. Apart from the tremendous music section Tauron Nowa Muzyka is also full of great accompanying events like photography workshops run by some of the biggest names in professional photography in Poland, music workshops focused on music production and the art of sound mastering, alternatiff Turistik – guided tours of the postindustrial heritage of the Silesian Region, bike tours around Silesia and many more not yet announced! Specials/Infos	Es war ein fulminanter Auftakt beim ersten FLEISCHMARKT IN DER SÄULENHALLE feat. Norman Nodge. Wir danken den hunderten Gästen, die unser neues Event so spannend gemacht haben. Und als Dankeschön machen wie eine zweite Summer-Edition und bringen euch einen der besten DJs der Welt. BEN KLOCK ist in den letzten Jahren zu einem der bedeutesten Techno Produzenten und DJs geworden. Bei der letzten Leser-Umfrage des Magazins DE:BUG (eines der bedeutesten Sprachrohre der deutschen Technoszene) wurde er sogar zum zweitbesten DJ der Welt (!) gevotet. Wir sind extrem stolz einen seiner letzten freien Termine 2011 ergattert zu haben. Als Resident-DJ des Berghains gestaltete er seit der Eröffnung 2004 den speziellen Sound des Clubs nicht nur maßgeblich mit; der Club formte wiederum auch den DJ- und Produktionsstil von Ben Klock. Ein spiegelbildliches Verhältnis. Mit seinen hypnotischen, schwer groovenden Techno-Sets, den Platten auf Ostgut Ton und seinem 2006 gegründeten Label Klockworks, erspielte Klock sich in den vergangenen Jahren einen exzellenten internationalen Ruf. Gestützt von seinen stringenten und zupackenden Tracks, Remixes für so unterschiedliche Künstler wie Kerri Chandler, Martyn oder Depeche Mode, dem viel gelobten Albumdebüt „One“ für Ostgut Ton und seiner Berghain-Mix-CD, steht Ben Klock für die Neubelebung einer essentiellen Technodefinition. Seine Musik kommt ohne lähmende Nostalgie aus, überzeugt stattdessen durch Konsequenz, Dynamik und immer wieder durch eine Sensibilität, die man sonst von House erwarten würde. Klock betreibt so die unangestrengte Fusion von Fortschritt und Tradition und ist um Melodien oder Hooklines nie verlegen. Seine große Kunst ist es, diesen Ansatz aus industrieller Strenge, organischer Musikalität und bestechender Körperlichkeit harmonisch in Einklang zu bringen. Und eben jene monatlichen Marathon-Sets im Berghain, die all das Gesagte vertonen und Ben Klock immer wieder aufs Neue motivieren, jene Falltür namens Routine gekonnt zu überspringen.

DIE MuSiKvErAnStAlTuNg IHRES VERTRAUENS fährt zielgerade in den Camera Club ein: Auf 2 Floors wird ein umfassendes Spektrum an Musikgeschmäckern befriedigt. Am ersten Floor wird der Ausnahme-Aufleger BRIDGE MILLER sein Elektronisches Können zum Besten geben. Unterstützt wird er vom Upcoming DJ – CEDSH.... uuuuund mit dabei natürlich die Residents Double Trouble (R2R). Für einen optische Augenschmaus sorgen die Visuals von GEGENGLEICH. Der 2te Floor fährt gut unter dem Motto „Dancehall Sounds“^^ Nachdem genügend Summerfeeling getankt wurde, werden die bekannten Wiener G-Spot Sound „Carribean Vibez“ verbreiten und die Masse zum abgehen bringen. Supported werden sie von PASSINJAH. Natürlich dürfen BASHMINT nicht fehlen, um ihren Beitrag zum Karibischen Feeling zu leisten.
