Mit ihrem unverwechselbaren Sound und ihrem einzigartigen Auftreten zog sie schnell den Innsbrucker DJ, Produzent und Plattenladenbesitzer Garry Trace in ihren musikalischen Bann. Garry Trace öffnete ihr die Türen zu den ersten Gigs und schon begann die Innsbrucker DJane mit ihreren Feierfieber-Events im Tiroler Raum eine She Shorty Infektion auszulösen die schnell über die Landesgrenzen hinauswuchs. Ihr Name breitete sich aus wie eine Schallwelle und viele weitere Gigs folgten: zum Beispiel im Undergroundclub/ Belgrad, Nature One Warm Up/ Koblenz, Loveparade Wien, UNITY Messehalle Ibk, Club Cazin/ Linz, Cave Club/ Salzburg, P.P.C. Focus/ Graz, STEREO/ Graz, Konzept.Schall/ München, Palais/ München, Garden/ München, Penthaus/ München, Kranhalle/ München und bis heute ist kein Ende abzusehen. Die Stars und Sternchen der elektronischen Bewegung sind ihr auch nicht fremd geblieben, legte sie doch schon mit Größen wie Johannes Heil (GER), Danilo Vigorito (I), Brian Sanhaj (GER), Roberto Q. Ingram (USA), Louis Osbourne (UK), Sven Dedek aka Basic Implant (GER), Misc (GER), Alex Bau (GER), Lars Klein (GER), Torsten Kanzler (GER), Hooligan (GER), Moguai (GER), Andreas Kremer (GER), Asem Shama (GER), Vanguard (GER), usw. auf. In ihren Sets mischt sie gekonnt eine große Portion weiblichen Charme mit einer Prise maskuliner Härte, und so modulierte sie ihren eigenen Style, der seinesgleichen sucht. Von feinstem Minimal zu knackigem Electro, über deepen TechHouse bis hin zu fetten treibenden Beats hat sie alles auf Lager und immer noch ein Ass im Ärmel. Durch ihr verzauberndes Charisma und feinfühligen Spürsinn der Strömungen lässt sie ihre Platten mit Leidenschaft ineinander verschmelzen und schafft so eine fesselnde Klangwelt in die man nur so hinein gesogen wird und aus der sie die Crowd bis in den Sonnenaufgang und darüber hinaus nicht mehr entläßt. She Shorty ist sicher eine der funkigsten Djanes Österreichs und man kann sich auch in Zukunft auf eine Menge Heidi Kleiner freuen.

Raised in London, the two brothers discovered a love for the more soulful sounds of drum&bass around the turn of the millennium. It didn’t take long for the production bug to bite and they started to create their own tunes in early 2002. Hardwood and many hours of dedication led to quite a few years spent locked away in various different studios until they had perfected their trade. Fast forward five years and 2007 has seen the Brookes Brothers notch up an impressive catalogue of releases in a relatively short period of time. The brothers debut 12” Portal/Desert Island came out on Danny Wheeler's W10 imprint in 2006 to immediate acclaim from some of the scene's biggest names, setting the Brookes' on their road to success. This was followed by Verano released on Frequency Recordings (Andy C’s sister label to Ram Records) which was a collaboration with old cohort and long time collaborator Subfocus, and consequently became one of the biggest tunes of 2006. The end of that year saw the Brookes Brothers assault the market with a number of tunes including the massive Someone/Promise on Futurebound’s Viper Recordings and their highly rated remix of Pain by SKC + Bratwa for Critical Records. As a result of their hard work, in 2007 the Brookes Brothers were exclusively signed to Fresh and Adam F’s Breakbeat Kaos imprint. Their first release on BBK was the huge Hard Knocks/Mistakes, which received major radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Pete Tong and the Trophy Twins, as well as the heavyweight drum& bass DJs such as Andy C, Grooverider and Adam F. Next up they collaborated with another rising star, Culture Shock, together creating the monster track Rework, arguably one of the biggest tracks of 2007! The Brookes Brothers now hold residencies in both Fabric and Herbal nightclubs, playing regular national and international DJ sets. Recently Brookes Brothers were special guests on BBC Radio 1 Electro East show to rave reviews and much excitement. Forthcoming international tours to Australia and Canada are also in the pipeline and with their most recent massive release with Culture Shock: Rework on Ram Records and rumours of collaborations with legendary DJ Fresh still to come, we can only expect big things for this highly talented duo in 2008.

Das Stadtbild ist idyllisch und doch geht von diesem Badeort etwas Glamouröses aus. Es gibt Yachten im Hafen und schicke Autos. Die Menschen dieser Stadt bewegen sich langsam und elegant. Sie sind auf eine subtile Art sexy, genau wie die Musik, die in den Bars der Hafenpromenade läuft. Auch sie kennt keine Eile. So sanft wie die Wellen den Strand streichelt sie deine Seele. Letztes Jahr noch war Quiet Village der große Geheimtipp aller europäischen Soundnerds. Inzwischen wird die erste CD von der englischen Popkritik als moderner Klassiker abgefeiert und das Duo beschallt nicht nur die Mainstage des Sonarfestivals in Barcelona, sondern nach Remixen von Gorillaz, White Stripes, Moby usw. die Bühnen der wichtigsten elektronischen Festivals weltweit. Das Duo besteht aus Joel Martin, dem Sohn eines Filmemachers, der Jingles und Soundtracks für illustre Kunden wie FTV und Victorias Secret selektiert und die legendenumwobenste Plattensammlung Londons besitzt und aus Matt Edwards aka Radio Slave aka Rekid, dem gekrönten Remixkönig des Techno (Prince, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Busta Rhymes, Pet Shop Boys u.v.a.), der schon bei seinem letzten Auftritt in Innsbruck die Hundertschafen zur Ekstase getrieben hat. Expect the Expected! Live erwartet einen sonnengebräunte Kodeindisko, Metafilmmusik für das oskarverdächtige Kopfkino, mit einer Sampletechnik, die mindestens so revolutionär ist wie Andy Warhol beim Abmalen von Suppendosen eingebettet in die hypnotischen Visuals von FTVs hauseigenem VJ. Danach gibt´s Support vom Alien Explorer Dj Team und als Abschlusszuckerl Technoavantgarde von einem Überraschungsgast.

sonstiges	As a DJ, remixer, producer and co-owner of Def Mix Productions (one of the world's most successful dance music production companies) David Morales has made a mark all his own. David hails from the streets of Brooklyn which influences his unique style behind the DJ booth as well as in the studio, a style that brings guts and accessibility to music. David Morales, aka 'The Face' will be re-releasing his massive hit single 'Needin' You' on Manifesto in January next year. The track has been given a vocal treatmet by Juliet Roberts. 'Needin' You' reached No.8 in the UK charts when it was released originally on Manifesto last year. In 1989, David was employed as a DJ at a new club named "Red Zone" which along with his first trip to Britain caused his studio mixes to become a fusion of the UK sound with his own street sound. Those mixes were called "Red Zone mixes" and led Morales to become a legend in the underground.In 1991, Morales produced his own record David Morales And The Bad Yard Club "The Program" which was released on Mercury Records in 1993. As a follow up to the success of the album, David has worked on a new Bad Yard Club song called "Wind Up Your Body" which is soon to be released on Mercury Records. David has been a guest DJ on MTV's "The Grind" and has programmed and mixed music for the show as well. He continues to spin records at major clubs around the world as well as mixing his own Saturday night program, called "Morales At Midnight", on New York's #1 Dance Radio station WKTU. His production skills have kept him in great demand with top recording artists such as Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Seal, Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, Jamiroquai, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Spice Girls and Toni Braxton to name just a few. David was nominated in 1996 for a Grammy Award for producing Mariah Carey's "Fantasy". In 1997 he produced two tracks, "Honey" and "Butterfly" for the recently released Mariah Carey album and is has also remixed "The Roof" and "My All".
