Gewinnspiel: 3 x 2 Karten Paul Brtschitsch Bio: Paul Brtschitsch was born in Berlin where he lived until the age of 10 and than moved to Frankfurt/Main. Stamped by the early times of the legendary OMEN/Frankfurt he discovered his love for electronic music. From that time on he devoted his life to playing e-music as a DJ at diverse parties in the region of Frankfurt. In 1992 he got his first Synthesizer. Since then he spent most of his time on producing his own tracks. In the following years he gathered more and more experience. He established his own Label Taksi along with André Galluzzi. In 2000 Richie Hawtin licensed their track "Schneesturm" (Taksi 07) for his label Plus 8 and published the maxi with his own remix in 2001. Over the time Paul also released on different Labels, for example Force Inc., Ongaku and Frisbee. His first album 'Surftronic' appeared in February 2000. One year later his second longplayer named "Venex" was released. All titles are sexy, deep and have an unmistakable groove. His definition of techno/house opens doors for further development within our motion these days and 'Venex' is already decisive for many other producers. Paul completed his album trilogy with 'Memory' on Frisbee Tracks. Pauls music interests developed over time. So he started working on different projects. The first result was the Downbeat TripHop album with Dr. Atmo "Atmo/Brtschitsch" - CHANGE YOUR LIFE - released on a sub label of Kitty Yo. In addition he got several remix orders, for example: Snap - Rhythm is a dancer, FPU -Racing Car- Ministry of Sound, Pascal Feos - Overflow and others. He also produced music for two pavilions at the Expo 2000 in Germany. Two more TripHop albums followed during 2005 and 2006. Meanwhile he kept on performing Techno LIVE ACTs in Europe, Japan, Russia and USA. In 2006 he released a record on the belgium label Music Man and one on the label Ostgut Ton, which belongs to the well known Berghain club in berlin. Paul, who in the meantime has moved back to Berlin, has just started his new platform ROOTKNOX and is co-producing Anja Schneider on her label Mobilee. Paul`s new record "Hook Up" is released on Mobilee`s sublabel Leena. at the same time cologne`s famous label karmarouge released their birthday compilation "traumschwiegersöhne" with the track "morning glory" by gabriel ananda and paul. Today he is looking back on over 50 maxi releases; several remix works and 9 albums. |
