sonstiges	BIOGRAPHY - GUI BORATTO Born in 1974 in São Paulo Brazil, Gui Boratto, architect, musician, composer and producer initiated his career in the advertising sector in 1993. From 1994 until 2004 he performed various works for countless record labels both national and international, such as EMI, Virgin, Irma, BMG, Edel, Vidisco, ZYX, among others. It was 10 years of honest and competent work for consecrated artists such as Pato Banton, Garth Brooks, Steel Pulse, Desiree, Mano Chao, Gal Costa, Chico Buarque, Fernanda Porto, Kaleidoscópio, Leila Pinheiro, and many others. Gui Boratto is A&R and one of the owners, with his partner and brother Tchorta, of the Brazilian independent label, Megamusic, distributed by Trama. From 2005 he began to dedicate himself to his own productions and compositions, displaying to the public an authoral and more personalized side to his abilities. With countless licenses with respected European labels, such as Plastic City, Circle, Kompakt, Audiomatique, among others, Gui Boratto has managed to appear in the chart and playlists of people like Michael Mayer, Tiefschwarz, Steve Bug, Phonique, Martin Landsky, Hernan Cattaneo, among others. With respect for his talent growing in the world scene, Gui Boratto is a name to look out for on the Brazilian house, techno and minimal scene. One of the founding fathers of the German Hardtechno scene, he released some 20 records in his first year alone, among them classics like "Bongo Dynamics", "Collateral Damage" and the infamous "Nightmare", which fueled the Hardtechno movement in Germany and spawned several clones. Nightmare also marked the start of his main label Artillery, which quickly became a houshold name in the scene. 2005 marked the resurrection of the label "Gigamusic" and the birth of a new major project: "Artillery Bookings", which Amok founded together with his long time friend and partner-in-crime ViperXXL. He also did many new tracks and some co-productions with some of the scene's best producers: Rude Awakening, Jeff Amadeus, Lenny Dee, Waldhaus, ViperXXL, mostly to be released in 2006. Amok's style is extreme and unique in many ways. His training in classical music as a child continues to influence his style today, both in the strucuring of his sets, but also in his productions (Nightmare was influenced by Wagner). He loves to break the boundries that are restricting techno to continuously copying itself, and his playlists (full of hard to find tracks), showcase the finest productions in hard techno and industrial hardcore. Amok plays at high bpm and extremely hard, but however extreme the clash of metallic synths, thundering subbass drums and rapid fire percussion may be, there is always rhythm and structure to keep things in check and ensure dancefloor compatabilty. For it is here, where the style unfolds it's true purpose, when the power and energy of the beats become euphoria. Frank has earned his place among the big names of the new "hardtechno generation". tobias luke Affiliations: Tekktribe,Compressed,Carnege Bio: Tobias Lüke aka OBI was Born in 1982 in Greven (Germany). His first contact with music was in school when he started to play drums.When he was 12 he got involved in electronic music.On his 14th birthday he got his first equipment to start mixing.First he began to spin housemusic and trance. With 16 he had his first gigs on smaller events or private parties. With 17 his style turned into techno. Slowly he got some gigs.He was 18 when he started to spin records in clubs. In feb. 2001 he was one of the winners of the new born dj contest at fusion club-münster. At the end of 2002 he started making own events in his hometown greven. TekkTribe was born. First it was only events, booking and promotion.But in april 2003 he started the label TekkTribe rec. with his first release "gehoersturz ep". Now tobias releases on different labels.

In der trügerischen Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben versuchen immer mehr Armuts- und Kriegsflüchtlinge aus Afrika, die stets höher werdenden, möderischen Barrieren der Festung Europa zu überwinden. Jene, die das Festland nicht als Leichen an TouristInnenstränden angeschwemmt, sondern lebend erreichen, werden großteils entweder wieder abgeschoben, in Lagern interniert, oder als illegalisierte und völlig entrechtete ArbeiterInnen (z.b. in der spanischen Gemüseproduktion) ausgebeutet. Das Maß an Menschenverachtung, mit dem jene Flüchtlinge konfrontiert sind, die es - weitab unseres Blickfeldes – nur bis in die nordafrikanischen Grenzregionen schaffen, ist mindestens ebenso unfassbar. Wenn sie beim Versuch, die mittlerweile 6-meter-hohen Zäune zu überwinden, nicht gleich von den Militärkräften erschossen werden, werden sie in (tw. geheimgehaltene) Internierungslager gesteckt und dort unter menschenunwürdigen Bedingungen misshandelt und ohne Kontakt zur Außenwelt auf unbestimmte Zeit festgehalten. Den Schilderungen des Journalisten Paulo Moura zur Folge, kommt es für viele aber noch schlimmer: "Man deportiert sie, in Lastwagen, zu Hunderten. Männer, Frauen, Kinder, die, bis auf ihre Kleider am Leib, nichts bei sich haben. In verschlossenen Transportern geht es per Express in den Tod. [...] mitten in der Wüste, werden die camarades ausgeladen. In einem unwirtlichen, menschenleeren Landstrich, glühendheiß bei Tag und eiskalt bei Nacht. Dort irren die camarades halb verhungert, wie Zombies, durch die Sandstürme, verrotten zu Tausenden. Dort kreuzen sich Tag für Tag die Flüchtlingsströme aus dem Süden mit denen der "Deportierten" aus dem Norden. Mit der Live Formation „Digitaria“ tourt derzeit einer der angesagtesten brasilianischen Electronica Acts durch Europa. Am Samstag den 8. Juli ist der vierköpfige Liveact in der Rockhousebar Salzburg zu Gast, wenn der „Club Electroluxx“ – bereits einen Tag vor dem offiziellen WM Finale - zum musikalischen „Traumfinale“ zwischen Brasilien und Österreich einlädt. Kürzlich noch auf dem großen Spanischen Elektronikfestival „Sonar“ in Barcelona zu Gast und am 8.Juli bei uns in Salzburg: „Digitaria“ sind derzeit auf Europatournee und mit ihnen präsentiert sich ein Stück brasilianischer Underground im Rockhouse. Die Band rund um Daniela Caldellas und Fabio Fonseca entspricht dabei keineswegs den herkömmlichen touristischen Klischees von brasilianischer Folklore oder bereits zur genüge gehörtem Brasilelectro. Zu erwarten ist auch kein stilistisch beliebiger Ethnosound, denn „Digiraia“ beschreiben ihre radikale Liveperformance viel mehr als „Rock and Roll. Not the way we know it today, but the Rock n´ Roll of the future". Die Band aus Belo Horizonte, die zuletzt mit Stars wie DJ Hell, oder Scan X aus Frankreich tourte, tritt mit einer Mischung von digitalen Synthesizern und organischen Gitarrensounds auf. Den Brasilianern stehen an diesem Abend die stilistisch durchwegs verwandten Rhythmbreakz Djs gegenüber. Die Köpfe des Schmiede-Soundlabors 2006 - Precious K und Phil Pruce - präsentieren ihre Mischung von Electroclash, New Wave Disco, und Techno. Gast ist der geschätzte DJ Audiophil. Dazu Fußball - weils gerne sein muss: Neben dem „musikalischen Traumfinale“ zwischen Brasilien und Österreich Für Brasilien gibt’s zudem - für alle die nicht „Ohne“ leben können - die Livescreen Übertragung um Platz Drei. sonstiges	Summersplash? Nie gehört? Solltest Du aber. Die Idee wurde Ende 2004 geboren: jeden Monat gibt es zahlreiche Parties in unserer Region, doch wann feiert eigentlich das ganze Pack mal zusammen? Genau, im Juli, diesmal am 08.! Der regionale Anspruch hat nach wie vor große Bedeutung, so sind wir bemüht möglichst viele Acts der Region zwischen München und Passau sowie Landshut, Salzburg und Rosenheim für die Teilnahme zu begeistern. Und es funktioniert! Wie sonst auch immer Sommer nutzen wir die Sonnenstrahlen und fangen bereits um 15 Uhr an. Feiern kann man eben nie genug... nur brauchst Du dazu immer dicke Namen? Wir denken nicht. Speziell wird`s trotzdem, nicht zuletzt durch die Gebr. Teichmann, die uns mit einem Liveact unterhalten werden, der absolute Wahnsinn aber: Extrawelt live! Die Jungs von der Border Coummunity dürften Euch nach ihren Überhits "Soopertrack" oder "Zu Fuss" sicher ein Begriff sein. Natürlich gibt`s auch eine WM Live Übertragung, sowie Thai Food, Cocktailbars, einen Technoflohmarkt und vieles mehr! Wir freuen uns sehr darauf! Euer EME Team! ACHTUNG!!!
