Specials/Infos	From August 28 to August 30, 2009 Katowice will become one of the most important places on the music map of Poland, due to the fact that after a two-year break 4th edition of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festival will be held here again. This year’s festival does not only mean the traditional choice of artists based on what is most fascinating in the contemporary electronic music, but also a thoroughly new venue – the grounds of the former “Katowice” Coal Mine. The buildings left after the coal mine situated right in the city center face the chance of becoming a real Mecca for the fans of progressive sounds and the industrial scenery, full of mysterious machineries, perfectly emphasizes the intermingling of tradition and modernity as one of the most essential distinguishing features of the festival, from the very beginning closely related to Silesia. That’s exactly where the artists whose albums had a great impact on the electronic music scene during recent years are going to give their shows within three days. The most intriguing debutants won’t be missing, as well. The first day of festival is a real feast for the ears for the fans of unconventional hip-hop, as Dan le Sac & Scroobius Pip duet has never appeared in Poland before. They present explosive mixture of simple rhythms, jazz samples and lyrics, describing contemporary culture and civilisation perceived by the eyes of a charismatic, snappy and having an incredible sense of humour leader, who, not without a reason, is nicknamed a rapping Tom Waits. A moment later the main stage of the festival will be ruled by Speech Debelle, a British debutant, whose this year’s album has been commonly acclaimed as one of the greatest revelations of hip-hop. The right dose of dance frenzy will be guaranteed by extravagant Ebony Bones, incorporating in their music both punk simplicity together with the liking for African rhythms and feminist message. Another great star of the evening will be the Australian group, Pivot, who, after such a plentiful dose of black music, will let the audience rest while listening to the complex compositions in which the influence of ambient and post-rock intermingle in a perfect way. Saturday – the second day of the festival - is an opportunity to get to know the creative activity of a few unquestioned stars of a widely perceived scene of electronic music. One of them will be Tim Exile, proclaimed a new David Bowie by the music line media, who within a few years of scenic career managed to redefine and define from the scratch such kinds as drum’n’bass or IDM, mixing an excellent feeling for dance music with skillfull experimenting with the audience inclinations. The second great star of the evening, Flying Lotus, an American DJ and producer, is the one responsible for Los Angeles album considered by many critics and commentators the best album of the previous year and one of the most interesting experiments of recent years, showing a thoroughly different attitude to instrumental hip-hop. The exquisite choice of artists will be completed by Jon Hopkins, a WARP record company star whose ambient compositions were complimented by Brian Eno, the father of the kind of music himself. There will be also an English performer and vocalist, Planningtorock, who mixes in her works the elements of opera, hip-hop, aggressive electronic music on the verge of digital hardcore, pop melodies and complex video installations. The last but not least, the audience will listen to an outstanding debutant, Hudson Mohawke, who after releasing just a few singles and one EP has been acclaimed one of the most promising artists of contemporary dance music, feeling at hope in seemingly so incongruent kinds as grime and IDM. The climax of the second day of festival will definitely come with the first in Poland performance of the legendary Knife duet vocalist, Karin Anderson, who will be presenting her new project, Fever Ray. It’s hard to imagine a better setting for the gloomy and cold compositions of the Swedish artist, whose whole work concentrates on discovering a human trace in the world dominated by machines and technologies, than the postindustrial space of a Silesian coal mine. The final day of the festival is once again an excellent blend of refined experiment with music which can make anybody dance. The third day is the chance to see and listen to one of the greatest freaks of contemporary electronic music, Dan Deacon who, together with the company of 15-people-band, will introduce us to the compositions from his new album, Bromst, even today speculated to be one of the most serious candidates for the title of the best album recorded in 2009. The fans of a bit quieter sounds will be able to relax on Sunday during the performance of another artist, a French DJ nicknamed Onra and get to know how to create a masterpiece impossible to be defined, making use of classic hip-hop motives and solutions, and deriving inspiration from the music of the Far East. And for the lovers of fairy tale atmosphere and ethereal melodies, played both on traditional instruments and thanks to the use of complex sets of electronic devices, the fulfillment of the evening will definitely come together with the gig of an Icelandic group widely acclaimed in Poland, Mum. Obviously, it’s not the end of the attractions of 4th edition of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festival, which besides magnificent music has also other surprises to offer, such as turbo-golf competitions or tours of industrial landmarks of Silesia, organised as a part of Alternatiff Turistik project. sonstiges	The `Dirty Thirty` of SMACS! Sa. 29/8/2009 – 22:30 @ FLEX Yippieh! Smacs feiert wieder mal Geburtstag, und dabei ist die Erinnerung ans letzte Mal noch immer nicht verblasst. Du meine Güte, war das ein Fest! Es gibt Leute, die haben heute noch einen leichten Kater in ihren Tanzmuskeln. Aber heuer wird die Party noch wilder werden, so viel steht schon mal fest. Erstens weil Smacs 30 wird, und einen 30er kann man nicht normal feiern. Zweitens weil SMACS speziell für diesen Abend die beiden Techno-Animals FREDSKI aus Berlin und MHM ONE aus Kopenhagen einfliegen lässt. Beide vom zu Recht hochgepriesenen, mega-gehypten dänischen Label TARTELET, das gerade dabei ist die Clubs weltweit und endgültig zu erobern. Wikinger eben, wilde Kerle, die vor nichts zurück schrecken. Perfekt, um einem von Wiens größten derzeit lebenden DJ-Monstern, unserem guten – und bei 30 kann man´s dann ja auch schon sagen – alten SMACS, einen rein zu gratulieren. Damit´s auch so richtig schön weh tut am nächsten Tag, man aber gleichzeitig unglaublich froh ist dabei gewesen zu sein. Zu dick aufgetragen? Na, dann komm doch, wenn du dich traust. August 2009 im Hacienda-Keller EUPHORIA Feinste elektronische Musik der Extraklasse mit ARTISTS DJ´S MIKE VÄTH (Zürich/Frankfurt) Mike Väth ist ein echtes Frankfurter Original, lebt aber seit 2007 in Zürich.Ein Hang zum Kreativen scheint im Hause Väth zum Erbgut zu gehören. Gerade wegen seines berühmten Bruders Sven hat Mike Väth sich zu Zeiten des Omens nicht ebenfalls mit Musik beschäftigt, sondern feierte dort lieber zur Musik von Sven und machte sonst sein eigenes Ding, nämlich Techno Art und Flyerdesign.Zusammen mit René Walliczek und Paul Schulte (Ex-Earth Nation & D.A.F.) gründete er das "Mike Väth Project". Einige Jahre später zog es ihn auch hinter die Plattenteller, ab da gab es kein Halten mehr. Nachdem er beim "We are Punks on the Beach"-Festival das Publikum ekstatisch und am Rande der Erschöpfung zurückließ, bot ihm Datapunk-Labelchef Anthony Rother spontan einen Handschlag-Deal an. Bis jetzt probierte er sich in vielen verschiedenen Richtungen aus und entwickelte so einen unverkennbaren Stil. Nicht nur als Live-Axct, sondern auch seine alleinige Performance als DJ sorgt Mike mit treibenden Beats für schweisstreibende Nächte. Der kleine Bruder von Großmeister Sven Väth wird sich am 29.08.09 bei EUPHORIA @ Hacienda-Keller die Ehre geben und mit seinem Mix aus Elecktro und Techno den Club regelrecht zum Toben bringen. Don´t miss it...! TEMOR HAMID (München/Berlin) Für viele noch als Tem Moody vom U-turn Records und Club Druckkammer aus Passau bekannt. Zwischenzeitlich brachte ihn seine Musik sogar bis nach China. Er spielte nicht nur als Platteladenbetreiber, Veranstalter und DJ eine wichtige Rolle bei der Gestaltung der Passauer elektronischen Musikszene, sondern hinterließ auch in der österreicheschen Szene seinen Fingerabdruck. Er lebte 4 Jahre in Berlin, wo er neue Inspirationen sammelte und arbeitete kontinuierlich in seinem Homestudio mit Freaks aus Berlin und feilte an seinem Sound. Er wird einige davon auf den Teller schmeißen um seinen "euphorischen" Daseinszustand aus der Tiefe zu vermitteln... FRANK PRINS (Linz) Linzer DJ und Veranstalter startete im Jahre 1994 mit dem "Plattendrehen". Nachdem er alle wichtigen Events und Clubs Österreich bespielt hatte, folgten erste Auslandsgigs. Diese brachten ihn nach Spanien, Schweiz, Italien, Deutschland, Tschechien, Ungarn, Zuerkei, Kroatien Bosnien und Slowenien. MICHAEL MORGALA (Passau) Er ist seit über 10 jahren als leidenschaftlicher DJ ein fester Bestandteil der Passauer Elektro-Szene. Er kommt aud der alten U-Turn-Schule und bringt zum ersten Mal seine Phylosophie auch nach Schärding: exzessives Feiern ohne den Bezug zur Musik zu verlieren. Beginn: 21:00 Uhr

Der DJ, Producer und Remixer (Faithless, Destiny´s Child, New Order...u.v.m.) präsentiert diesmal Psychedelische Kunst aus seiner digitalen Werkstatt. An diesem Abend wird P.D.T. debütieren und die gesamte visuelle Begleitung zur Musik gestalten, um die Dynamik des Dancefloors " psycho-euphorisch" zu unterstützen!

(Flight-) destination is SALZBURG, VIENNA OR LINZ (Austria). From Vienna and Linz you have to take a train to Salzburg. SHUTTLE SERVICE: Between the venue and the hotel / camping area is provided. For those who arrive by train: destination is Salzburg main station. PICK UP: We can pick you up from the airport or the trainstation in SALZBURG - but we will need your arrival / depature time. THE VENUE: The venue "Sakog Kulturwerk" where all workshops and partys will take place is situated about 20 km away from Salzburg. From Vienna it takes you about 3 hours by car. You can also choose to go by train from Vienna to Salzburg. We can arrange transfers from Salzburg airport or the train station to "Sakog Playground". Specials/Infos	As time goes bye...Die Tage der legendären Registratur neigen sich leider dem Ende entgegen und und wir haben dabei mehr als eine große Träne in den Augen. Die Kombination von "Regi" und "World League" war immer ein Garant für Parties der Extraklasse und gehörten sicher zum Besten was Party Deutschland zu bieten hat. Grossartige Events mit Künstlern wie Koze, Timo Maas, Loco Dice, Monika Kruse, Marco Carola, der Minus Posse oder Tiefschwarz liegen hinter uns. Wir laden Euch heute zur letzten World League Session in den Räumen der ehrwürdigen Registratur ein. Und hierfür haben wir uns niemand geringeren als Herrn von M.A.N.D.Y. ausgesucht! Unsere Lieblingsberliner sind ausgefuchste Schlingel, denn was zunächst nach Marzahner Wasserstoffblondine ausschaut, wird schnell zur First Class Disko-Formation zu der der Gast in gediegenem Ambiente tanzt, das Château Petrus Glas hebt und über Belangloses schwadroniert. Dekadenz mal unendlich. Platz für billigen Ibiza Schranz gibt es da keinen. Hinter M.A.N.D.Y. verbergen sich mit Patrick Bodmer und Phillipp Jung zwei alte Veteranen der Technoszene. Zusammen mit ihrem Langzeitpartner, dem Produzententeam Booka Shade, sind sie seit 1992 auf verschiedenen namhaften Labels mit ihren Releases zu Gast und 2001 stampfen sie zusammen mit Groove Magazin-Gründer Thomas Koch das Berliner Electro-House-Label Get Physical aus dem Boden. Releases wie "Put Put Put", "Sunsetpeople" oder "Body Language" und Compilations wie "Body Language Vol. 1" oder "At the Controls" sind der Auslöser für Bookings auf der ganzen Welt.
