jop, legt zwar nicht soooo wert auf fehlerfreies mixing, d.h. man hört schon ab und an platten auseinanderlaufen, sie laufen aber wieder gleich schnell zsammen, also absolut nicht störend!

Es ist eine Freude Roberto hinter den Decks zu sehen, er rockt und shaked hinter dem Mixer dass man alleine vom Zusehen Lust aufs Tanzen verspürt...

Noch dazu ist er ein sehr netter Mensch frei von Hochnäsigkeit und Star Allüren!

Today, RYRALIO is the synonym of the quality house music from the Baltic coasts. Lithuanian DJ duo Lauris Lee and Karalius are the most renowned deck masters, partymakers and house music producers in their country.

Lifted from a recurring motif in Lithuanian folk music, RYRALIO is a fitting name for first house music label in the Lithuania. Formed in Spring of 2002, the label is dedicated to promoting the distinct flavour of the quality original house and related electronic music from the region.

RYRALIO RECORDS releases include marvellous jazzy 12” of Jazzus Juice “Life Is Long”, treasured underground single by producer Simuck “Still EP” and the very first Lithuanian house mix compilation “Pasaka”. The unique production by Karalius and Lauris Lee won them the title “The Album of the Year” in Lithuanian club scene and many positive reviews from all over Europe.

“Pasaka” is the first professional project of the kind in the Baltic region, 100% original local artists music united in 60 minutes of enchanting mix. The single “Visu greiciu”, beautified by the vocal of the nightingale of the local electronic music scene Giedre, went to the top of the airplay charts in their native city Kaunas.

In Lithuania, RYRALIO is also the most prominent party label, responsible for more than 150 events during the last two years. The duo started cosy lounge music parties fashion in the country, developed a range of real house music smash parties with top world DJs (Rithma, Johnny Fiasco, Harley & Muscle... just to name a few). They are also known for incredible choice of venues including a boat parties at the Nemunas river and the annual “Summer End Festival” on the beautiful lake side of Kaunas Sea.

RYRALIO DJs played in the clubs and festivals as far as Turkey, Iceland, UK, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, USA, Estonia, Russia and Poland, and in Latvia they are ‘almost’ local celebrities. Their sets are famous for collaborations with multimedia artists (such as Kaunas new media collective Rüt Rüt) and even authentic Baltic folk performers (percussionist Raimundas Silinskas, the amazing “Daisy Trio” and many others).

From 2004, RYRALIO DJs are not only widely respected deck specialists, but also they started their career as remixers and producers. Working together with young Lithuanian studio wizard Mario Basanov, the duo unleashed the remix of Latvian stars Badmaster’s Flight track “Samuel Alone” on the Amber Muse label to the critical applause. For the 2005, they already prepared a remix of Jay J “In My Life” (Soulstar Records) and their own release RYRALIO DJs featuring Rithma “Funk Is Still Alive” on the famous OM records in the sunny California….

Needless to say, the cards show the emergence of the first LP from RYRALIO DJs is not that far away… So if you are looking for something really new and herbal to spice up the humdrum house music scene of today, you should look no further than… Lithuania!

Infos zu ROBERTO Q. INGRAM:

“For as long as I can remember, dance music has always been a part of my life. My mother worked as a bartender in the nightclub scene and I would check
in with her after school during happy hour. She would let me select music on the jukebox, at that time my favorite artists were Herbie Hancock, Boosy Collins, Parliament Funkadelics, Frankie Beverly & Maze. Shortly thereafter the birth Dj Roberto Q. Ingram began. The early 90s brought Ingram deeper into the house scene where he began refining his sound.

Holding residencies at the Hollywood Palace, Spice, The Mayan and a plethora of LA venues solidified Ingram’s club stature, while spinning at large parties such as Tribal Gathering and Moon Tribe.Relocating in 1995 to Munich, Germany, Ingram’s sound began to evolve. „I have more flexibility in my music now. Europe has put the electronic in my funky American music style, making it more interesting.“

In the past five years Ingram has done a tremendous amount of event and club work across Europe & the US, with a heavy concentration in Austria, USA (Boston, New York), Croatia, Czechoslovakia and of course, throughout Europe. He has performed at the Valkana Beach Festival 1996-2002, Berlin Love Parade,
an important milestone in any DJ’s career. Ingram has also partaken in the annual Mayday festival, for which was featured on the 1998 album of the same name.

Roberto Q Ingrams new project: the event and music promotion cooperative, Inspiration Network. The Network`s modus operandi has been to establish a platform where creative and forward thinking people can share ideas and collaborate on new projects. The primary format is of course electronic music, but the concept is open to all forms of modern art.

Kaiserwetter ist angesagt und auch eine laue Spätsommernacht...
