Passt zum dem Spiel: Welche Stadt passt hier nicht in den Satz (und ich mein das nicht geographisch)? Ich weiß schon, der Mann arbeitet in Berlin, aber liest sich halt echt merkwürdig.

Well, I have to take one step back into my past to remember if I have a dream like that. In the hardcore scene, there was also a Krishna movement. For two weeks I was on a Krishna farm in Munich and it was really nice. It made me really happy. I was totally anti-material for those weeks and it really filled me with luck. I think this way of life will not happen for me in this one (laughs), but maybe in another one. I’ll live on a Krishna farm and just live there without material things. Cos I’m a materialistic guy. I really like to shop and to spend money. Yeah, that’s my hobby. Spending money on fashion shit. I really spend a lot of money on things I don’t need. Look at all these shoes, they’ve never been worn. So that’s maybe a dream that will never happen, that I’m moving to a Krishna farm and I’ll be totally out of this world and concentrating on God and just becoming free in the next life. Cos all these things are holding us down here.

Its been a long 12 months since Timo Maas & Santos teased us with talk of their new imprint. Well, the boys are back in town and ready to roll out their first official release, and they've given center stage to another deadly duo, Adam Port and Santé.
Port's unique style (Somewhere between the vast perimeters of house and techno) unites with Santé's production expertise (currently co-producing, amongst others, Tiefschwarz) in this Berlin based collaboration. Together they have delivered two supreme cuts on the 'OWN E.P.'
Lead track 'OWN' meets the 60's with the Naughties. Its throbbing drum rhythm and soul-laced vocal make this a certain smash for those hot, heavy and sweaty summer nights.
On the flip the pair work their Voodoo magic. 'Faire des Siennes' with its heady mixture of shaker percussion, tribal drums, wailing chants and shaking bones, make for a trippy concoction and a perfect main-room smash.
An incredible debut release for Timo and Santos' label and perfect example of genius to come... Rock on!
