With his energetic and intense tech house sound, full of swing, tribal rhythms & beats, Alex is said to be probably the most promising of upcoming producers & DJs in the scene. Greek by right, but a Londoner by choice, Alex Celler (Alexandros Berdos) was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2004 he moved in London where he based his studio and since then it has been a story of hard work and righteous success.

His distinctive style and dedication to music has helped him establish his sound well into the electronic scene, that’s why his productions have been supported & championed continuously by a wide range of big DJs starting from Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice,and RRP Soundsystem to Dennis Ferrer, Masters At Work, Danny Tenaglia and Laurent Garnier to name a few. Because of his impressive production skills some of the most original record labels in the business such as Cocoon, Tuning Spork, Area Remote, Cecille, Freak N Chic, Buzzing Fly & Cinematic have released and licensed his productions and remixes over the past years. Well known in the scene as a purveyor of DJ-friendly dancefloor orientated records, with an astonishing range or productions, he has also been providing music in different moods under the aliases “Kemistry” and “Berdos”.

Alex’s DJ style - similar to his own productions most of which he plays out - is an impressive blend of rare old and modern tracks, ranging from house to techno, infused with tribal rhythms & pumping, deep basslines. He has a precise intuition for the right record on the dancefloor and his DJ sets are full of mood changes, creating an atmosphere which grabs the listener to the very last record. Alex has been featured as a guest DJ in well respected club around the globe, including London's Fabric, T-Bar & The End, Ibiza's Underground, Amnesia, Space and many others including Trouw, Catwalk, Open House and he is also DJing around the UK and Europe consistently.

ich bilde mir ein auf myspace gesehen zu haben das joris im dezember im flex spielen hätte sollen.
seine preise sind allerdings mittlerweile auch nicht von schlechten eltern, da spielt sich unter einem 15 € eintritt ak mal absolut gar nichts ab.

starke party, bin gekommen als der celler schon gespielt hat, sehr geiler balearischer sound, auch der anschluss-dj hat ein paar super tracks gespielt, thumbs up

edit: ich such noch einen track, in dem ein mann singt "I like to grab the funk, we make you grab the funk etc..." kennt den jemand?

extremt tightes set von alex, sehr stimmig und starker groove, überhaupt waren die leute sehr stark am grooven.

bin nich ganz sicher, ich glaub das war relativ am ende von alex' set... ich weiß nich ob ich den text richtig wiedergebe, jedenfalls wars immer dasselbe "i like to to grab the funk, you make me grab the funk, i like to grab the funk, you make me..." oder so ähnlich...
